Arthur is a strong character that made a lasting impact on me from the start. He is brilliant and a bit too confident but I could feel his passion for solving mysteries and his adventures and encounters are exhilarating. LionBolt has created a marvelous, fantastical story and there is never a boring moment. I could hardly put it down once I started. Arthur's rise from being a grumpy genius and lonesome detective to the charismatic king of detectives is amazing. The characters are distinctive and multi-faceted and the plot twists had me captivated. I was disappointed to reach the end and I can see myself rereading this to relive the exciting adventure of solving crimes and discovering the supernatural with Arthur and his knights. Overall, Magic and Mystery by LionBolt is a suspenseful and brilliant read! I recommend it.

    I loved Detective King Book 1!

    The characters are creative and super interesting. I got so into the story that I read the first 100 pages of the book in the first sitting. A must read!

    Please write more stories about the detective king.

    Detective King is a great book with strong characters and an easy to settle into story - All based loosely in a time after the great Sherlock Holmes once solved mysteries throughout old London Town.

    With a very polished finish, strong imagery and satisfying character pay-offs, I would recommend this book to pretty much anyone - While I have a more comprehensive review posted elsewhere, my advice for those undecided on what to read next would be to give this book a shot - Its characters are endearing and more layered than first meets the eye, the story captures a real Sherlock Holmes style-charm and the writing is fun & snappy in all the best ways.

    In short its a bundle of fun that I highly recommend!
