    If you have read the previous books in the series you will know that Stefan Esposito and Giovanni Rossi are the Chief leaders of elite operative groups known as Phoenix and Pegasus. These two have been together for years as partners personally and professionally. A relationship that spans 30 years and even though they are now living together they are still hiding it from most of their family, friends and their teams. Stefano has finally had enough and wants Rossi to have their relationship out in the open. Rossi is still hesitant and Stefano hurt decides he needs a break to figure out whether he wants to continue with things the way they are or if he needs to make permanent break. Rossi with the help of his team goes after Stefano but it seems as if someone is going to hamper their reunion. It is great to finally get a back story of their relationship. As always all action, steamy times and a HEA. A lot of future romance couples were set up in the epilogue and I can't wait for their stories in other series.

    I have waited for this story for a long time. I read this book in one sitting and it kept me on the edge of my seat. Stephano and Rossi have been together for many years in secret but when stephano couldn’t take being a secret anymore he leaves. Rossi realized that the love of his life may be gone forever so he searches for his love but it may be to late when they are kidnapped by a drug dealer.

    This story is a wild ride but has a very happy ending. It was well worth the wait.

    In reading Detonate, I like how the story shows the beginning of love for Rossi and Stefano during a time it was frowned upon. They continued to serve their country and hold strong to the love they were building. Rossi changed after he thought he had lost his son, but Stefano continued to love him even as he was in the closet. I like how the author showed both side to the men. She chronicled their love through the changes in society and brought the story home with family and friends. Looking forward to reading the next story.

    I have been rooting for these two characters to finally officially come out the closet to their chosen family for so long and this was well worth the wait.

    If you have been following this series and the others tied into it, then you will understand why this is has been throughly anticipated. Reese Knightley has once again given her characters life and the justice that they richly deserve.

    It's full of love. There is some flashbacks where we learn how they met, when they fell in love, how pheonix was create. So d@mn cute.

    After Stefano breakup with Rossi, he went away, took time off and relax on the beach... but problem always find themselves attract to Pheonix. After he taunted them, he is attacked and kidnapp by a drug dealers. Rossi will do anything to bring back the love of his live back home. He realize that Stefano is his another half. He is not himself without him. Both their heart are bleeding but true love never fade. They belong together. I do believe the drűg traffic mystery is not over. Can't wait for the next book.

    Thanks Stefano to let us know there is a lot more to these beautiful man. And to the author, thanks you so much to always be an hea. I think I would cry if it wasn't.

    Thankfully, I have read this book via Kindle Unlimited. And quickly returned it without finishing it.
    The seniors of a military group who live and love one another, except one wants to keep them both a secret.
    The other is so fed up of this, leaves and goes to stay in Aruba with friends. Although he wants to go radio silent on his lover he leaves the GPS switched on, on his phone.
    It just became farcical and I found myself eye-rolling with how much it felt like reading a parody.
    I do give respect to the author for their skills with weaving a story.
    Unfortunately, it's not a good story. For me, it was rather cringe worthy.
    Sadly this was my first book by this author, and I can happily state, it will be my last.
