    This was a sweet & sexy novella. self-professed nerdy girl is in a small mountain town with 2 friends conducting an internship study on communication networks (how info/gossip spreads). The author seemed a bit confused on how long college usually takes, but otherwise, it was fairly well-written. Shortly after arriving in town, they take a short hike but return to a car that won't start. A local close a tow truck for them, and it is an instant connection with the mechanic/garage owner who is driving the tow truck. He is all-in from the start, but respectfully pursues her, while being supportive of her career and interests, and whispering encouraging dirty comments in her ear when opportunity arises. So hot. There is a bit of an age gap, but not creepy (21 to 30), and it is briefly discussed. It sticks to common insta-love tropes of her being "innocent" and he being experienced, but the spicy scenes were done well with consent clear and not focusing too much on the experience difference, other than him verbally encouraging her to enjoy herself as he 'shared his experience ' 😉. Will look for more by this author, as this was a great "palette cleanser"

    I enjoyed reading this story. From the first moment their eyes met, the beginning of their forever was about to start. I liked that he learned about who she really was. I liked her honesty. Loved their epilogue.

    Harper and her friends have been hiking; when they get back to their car and it won't start. Barret is one of the locals that patrol the local trails so no one gets stranded. He called for a tow and Griffin aka Griff arrives to help with the car or tow it to the garage. Barret says they must be the 3 ladies renting the Riggs' house showing the speed of gossip in a small tow, The girls are studying how fast and what is spread for a professor's study without letting locals know so they get better results. When Griffin looks at each girl curiously until he sees Harper and his expression changes. She is the one for him? Read to what happens as Griff wants to spend more time with her. And as a nerd, Harper wants more with him. What are the changes that happen as they get to know each other?.

    She is a recent college grad in town for a summer intern research project. She loves organization and making lists. He is the local tow truck owner who comes to her rescue and falls for her. He knows instantly she is the one for him, but she might need convincing. This is part of a series, but can be read as a complete stand alone. If you read the others in the series you will get more out of the story because previous characters make appearances. There was decent story and character development for a short form story. This was a fun twist on rescuing the damsel in distress. He falls first and OTT, the epilogue sweetly ties this up.

    Another town created by Haley that I absolutely love. This was sweet. Griffin is the MMC and tow truck driver. Harper is our FMC and a certified city girl. But sparks fly between these two. Opposites attract strongly in this one. But Harper starts doubting her place in Old Hemlock Valley. Can she fit in here? Ah, Griffin. Griffin works overtime to ease her worries and show her how he feels about her and that love is worth taking a chance. Haley is queen for feel good romance.

    “Dirty Whispers” is an original, beautifully written, lovely instalove romance book. All of the characters are well-written, and Harper and Griffin are phenomenal.
    Griffin deeply loves Harper, and shows it in such tender, loving, and steamy, romantic ways. Harper has to figure out what path she genuinely wants to take, and Griffin supports her and gives her the space she needs.
    The description of the small town life if absolutely wonderful.
    This is a standalone with no cliffhanger, and I read it in about 90 minutes. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this book, and can’t wait to read more books in this series.

    Dirty Whispers is the first book in the Dirty Brothers series. Harper and her two friends are in town to do a social experiment for school. Griffin is one of the Dirty boys, a trio of brother mechanics in town. I liked both characters, they both had self-doubts that were reasonable. Griffin was more inclined to trust his instinct that Harper was the girl for him. An enjoyable read with an HEA and epilogue.
