I wrote my first short story featuring Doc Holliday as an immortal way back in 2004 for a college writing class and have been following him around ever since. In 2012 I wrote my first full length The Immortal Doc Holliday novel and never looked back.

Hi, I'm M.M. Crumley Your Author Extraordinaire (Also Known as M.M. Boulder)

As M.M. Crumley I write Urban Fantasy books full of supernatural action, nail-biting-mystery and; laugh-out-loud humor. Why? Because stories, myths, and legends have always been a huge part of my life... As a child, I liked nothing better than to lose myself in a world where magic and heroes were part of the fabric of existence.

As my pen name M.M. Boulder I write psychological thrillers and murder mysteries that bring the darker impulses we may not feel completely comfortable with into the light. My stories are full of lies and deaths, but there is always justice. A type of justice that's not afraid to get its hands dirty. I write morally ambiguous characters who are pushed to their limits and take matters into their own hands. In my world getting away with murder has never been so much fun!

No matter what I write every one of my characters are real to me. They exist. They are three-dimensional beings who demand that their stories be told. If I were to turn away from them, they would haunt me; and so I don't. Instead I chase after them and write down everything they say!

    Rotten cliff-hanger. As with the other books in the series, this was beautifully written - interesting characters, excellent story, certainly not a 'typical' novel with an easy-to-predict ending, HOWEVER it once again leaves you with a cliff-hanger & as I prefer "real" books, I now apparently have to wait God knows how long to find out WTH happens which is the ONLY reason I regret starting this series.

    I got hooked on this series some time ago, and the books are all fun filled “good triumphs over evil” stories. They are not deep, but they are entertaining. Doc, Jury, Jarvis, as well as Simon and the Bakers, take us on a journey, with many side trips along the way. I think those things are what make this a fully realized world, that we as readers long to visit.

    Omens is the seventh book in The Immortal Doc Holliday series by M. M. Crumley.

    I'm thankful to finally learn some of Jervis' most closely guarded secrets. It's so desperately saddening how he lost his family. But to see this burden lifter from his shoulders. To travel these pages as he accepts Sami into his life in whatever amount of happiness they may grant each other, has only allowed me to enjoy his presence more. Him and Doc have such an interesting relationship to one another. It tends to play really well alongside what Doc shares with Jury.

    I hope we do learn more about the importance of his Throne in the Dreaming. Other than that he somehow built it himself, without intending to? That was a very pointed question regarding the sixty bones that make up its facade.. But it also seems to tie rather well into his shifting mood. Just when he was in a place to accept and hear from those he has loved over the years they always appear. Now whether they are true figments of the people he knew, or just creations of his mind is still a question I would like the answer to.

    I wonder what the witches have in store for Doc and his motley crew, next? What the destruction of Blackwater Prison will bring? Whether any of the prisoners have retained any sanity within its confines?

    But mostly I can't wait to see where the Baker children take us next. I'm so happy that they've officially joined the family.
