As M.M. Crumley I write Urban Fantasy books full of supernatural action, nail-biting-mystery and; laugh-out-loud humor. Why? Because stories, myths, and legends have always been a huge part of my life... As a child, I liked nothing better than to lose myself in a world where magic and heroes were part of the fabric of existence.

As my pen name M.M. Boulder I write psychological thrillers and murder mysteries that bring the darker impulses we may not feel completely comfortable with into the light. My stories are full of lies and deaths, but there is always justice. A type of justice that's not afraid to get its hands dirty. I write morally ambiguous characters who are pushed to their limits and take matters into their own hands. In my world getting away with murder has never been so much fun!

No matter what I write every one of my characters are real to me. They exist. They are three-dimensional beings who demand that their stories be told. If I were to turn away from them, they would haunt me; and so I don't. Instead I chase after them and write down everything they say!

Feral is the ninth book in The Immortal Doc Holliday series by M. M. Crumley.

It's a mite depressing that Tozi might not be as much of a trustworthy friend as Doc has believed all this time. Realizing that she must not have ever died, because she never is in the Throne room, given the way she professed accepting death and her path back to the mother is suspicious. That he knows she's lied at least once already, in needing him to save Sofia when in fact she knew Sofia had to die, only supports further that there is something she's hiding... Which makes me devastatingly sad for Doc given he's always believe her to be the true constant in his life.

The Sons of Solomon haven't entirely fallen, yet. Doc and Jervis will have to ferret them all out of their hiding places. I am glad though that in discovering they still breathe was from fighting to freeing the Akkashi. I wonder if all of the knowledge from the memory Doc survived absorbing will come to have a purpose for him in the future?

I also wonder if he'll be able to keep himself from helping Andrew... Or if he'll manage to distract himself from whatever Jules found in Mitcham's files?

Then there's the mysterious Medusa, whom I hope majes another appearance in Doc's life. I'm crossing my fingers for the love interest possibilities. Because he already knows she's truly Immortal, and he has that childhood fascination of Greek lore. I think they would make a rather daring, and enjoyable pair.

Finally, I find myself concerned over whether his addiction to witches is truly cured? If it means anything else? If it stems from some further issue?

In this chapter of Doc Holiday we see him settling down, somewhat, until he gets an idea to release some lo g held super natural beings & in doing so he finds that an old nemesis is still operating.
Doc does some vacationing & some laughing with the kids.
The action in this chapter does seem to he light compared to earlier books, but picks up near the end & does leave the door open for the sequel.

What can I say, I love this series. I feel like they are all old friends. I love the pace of the books and the banter between the lead characters. The internal fight Doc faces which leads to his decisions always keeps me on edge as to what will happen next. They are a fun, fast roller coaster of a read which also pull on the heart strings.
