Could the key to solving this mystery be the small brown and white dog found shivering in a cardboard box?

When a Portland, Maine, television news crew stuck a microphone in Pam’s face and asked her to comment on her disastrous Valentine’s Day event, she shook her head, smiled sweetly, and said, “It looks like someone wasn’t feeling the love.”

There was one important aspect the perpetrator of this crime didn’t take into consideration: You don't want to cross a dog lover. Well, in this case it’s eight dog lovers who are determined to make sure justice will be served!

Loved this book as well as all others in this series.

Pam and Paul Bigelow, a power couple who are humble, charitable and just down right irresistible, show how much they care for the small community they have become a part of. They and along with the other "Mall Walkers and Dog Lovers" are like a breath of fresh air. They respect each other and work together to solve on going mysteries in their town.

    My second visit to Sunrise Harbor, Maine was more exciting than first. This second book in the series has the same likable characters but more intense criminal activity. All of the characters are developing nicely within each book; and I am enjoying getting to know them better each time. For a novella length book, this one skillfully twists and turns until the end. I've already got the next one ready to read.

    Another fun and quick read featuring two people who've quickly made it to my fave cozy main characters list. Too bad this series stops at five, but I'm gonna enjoy it while I read. I just love the camaraderie of these friends of all different ages. They've all definitely got one another's back and I'd be proud to call any of these characters (well, not the killer lol) friends too.

    That showdown was something but thanks to Paul's quick thinking, Sheriff Jake got there in time. That poor guy sure is getting a workout as the new sheriff! I've got the next book borrowed and cued up to read.
