Kristen Ashley is the New York Times bestselling author of over eighty romance novels. She’s a hybrid author, publishing titles both independently and traditionally, her books have been translated in fourteen languages and she’s sold millions of books.

In December 2022, Kristen published the second in her Wild West MC series, SMOKE AND STEEL, the love story of Hellen and Core. In March, she'll release the THE GIRL IN THE WOODS, the second in her romantic thriller series, Misted Pines. She'll also publish her first-ever murder mystery romance in an episodic format on Kindle Vella.

Pepper has been reluctant to start a relationship with Auggie for a while, no matter how much she is attracted to him. She's a single mom that comes from a dysfunctional family, one we learn a whole lot more about in this story, and her ex goes through women like it's a race so she wants to keep things simple for her eight year old daughter Juno and maybe somewhere down the line years from now she'll think about dating again. But there are things that are out of Pepper's control and she's no match for her eight year old matchmaking daughter. Auggie has a interesting family of his own, but that hasn't swayed him from knowing a good thing when he sees it. Only problem is Pepper is sending him mixed signals and he doesn't like being played with. I have been waiting for Pepper and Auggie to get together for a while now, Lottie has been playing matchmaker to all of her friends and this couple is the last of them...for now anyway. But no one expected the biggest hand in getting them together would be Juno, and can I just say that I loved this little girl so much she knew what was best for her mom and went about getting it for her...even if it was a little sneaky. Dream Keeper is the fourth book in the DREAM TEAM SERIES but can be read as a standalone. I listened to the audiobook and Susannah Jones did a fabulous job with bringing this story to life. If you enjoy Steamy Contemporary Romances, Single Mom Romances, Friends to Lovers Romances, or Romantic Suspense I would highly recommend this book to you. Happy Reading!!!

    Dream Keeper for me was a dream! A really freaking good one. I loved it from beginning to end. I love the Dream Team series so much! Pepper and Auggie and Juno... well it just worked so right. And Cisco, man he just continues to make us love him. Auggie and Pepper did not disappoint! Juno stole my heart and will steal yours too. I am completely fascinated to see where this series will go next or if KA spins it off because she left us hanging in a very good way (not with Auggie and Pepper so don't worry about that if you aren't a fan of cliffhangers, but left us hanging with the big case that has been brewing throughout this series). I am not going to say anything else about that so as not to spoil it in case you haven't read this series. Each book is a standalone with respect to each couple, but the big case is important throughout as I mentioned. I highly recommend this series especially if you loved the Rock Chick series. I am a huge Rock Chick fan and even though it is different in a lot of ways which I think is good. It is the same in parts which I think is great too. I am going to love re-reading these books for years to come (as I do the Rock Chick series and so many other of KA'S books). Bottom line, if you are a fan of KA'S HOT 🔥 Alphas, this series and most definitely this book Dream Keeper is a book you need to read. Auggie is a dream and just like Mag, Boone and Axl he makes you swoon! I mean who could resist the 🔥 commandos! Evie, Ryn, Hattie and Pepper are their perfect matches. They bring the love, beauty, sassiness and laughter the guys need. Lottie knew what she was doing when she fixed them up after she found her Mo! Dream Keeper is definitely a keeper in my book!

    10++ stars! Auggie & Pepper's story has been brewing throughout the series, with Pepper being STUBBORN and wasting time. And, okay, she had a really good reason at first, and then a somewhat good reason, but then, after a bit, it was just her being stubborn.

    Anyway, that part of her personality might have annoyed me. LOL

    But overall, this story was FANTASTIC & I highly enjoyed it (thus the extra stars)!! Auggie is amazing, and I love getting inside his head. We also get some Juno POV, which added an extra level of depth to the story's awesomeness. We DEFINITELY get to see Brett (aka Cisco) & his role is a little different in this one, but still pulled at my heartstrings & made me hope he somehow, someway, gets his own HEA.

    There is a huge family theme here, and the various ways they can be messed up or mess you up, but also the role love plays in all of that. Excellent theme! And I loved the way both Auggie & Pepper's situations shook out.

    Prepare for laughter, tears (both happy & sad), steamy goodness, and a feeling of anticipation for what's coming next!!

    I love Kristen Ashley's storytelling, the way that she blends her characters from series to series, and might I say her characters are the absolute bomb!!

    If you’ve read the Rock Chick and Dream Man series you are going to love this one, you'll see lots of familiar faces thru out the story! The sisterhood is strong, along with all their alpha males from Hawk’s Commandos, oh and Tex love that guy!! We meet new characters who will have stories in the future!!

    Pepper was incredible heroine, with Auggie being just the hero that she needed. Their story was great and I loved them together. Pepper’s daughter Juno is a great addition to this story.

    Now trouble would not be the same without Commandos and Rock Chicks, and we have a lot of them. Car chasing, gun fights, kidnappings….WOW!!

    Finally…finally we get Pepper and Auggie’s story. Sparks fly freely with these two. But sometimes those sparks aren’t the good ones and they make you want to throw your kindle. Lottie’s last match has taken their sweet time removing their heads from their behinds, but it was worth the wait.

    Pepper certainly did not have the ideal childhood, but she’s doing everything in her power to give Juno the exact opposite. Even going as far as putting her own happiness on hold. But Juno has a plan and nothing is going to stop her. Seriously…I adore that girl. Throw in a cult, some criminals, and a bunch of hot protective alphas and you have the makings of a Kristen Ashley classic.

    There is nothing to say about the how this book is written…it’s KA people!! Enough said!

    I really like Kristen Ashley as an author. Her ability to create a set of series’s and keep them cohesive is a real draw for me. Dream Keeper ties together the rest of the Dream Team nicely having Lottie, Ryn, Hattie and Evie flesh out the story. I also like the way each person develops a stronger sense of who they are and who they want to be. Even Juno Pepper’s daughter has these great moments that are so real and raw and beautiful. Definitely one worth keeping and reading again.
