- Reviewed in the United States on October 11, 2021Format: KindleVerified PurchaseAnother hot steamy read with lots of fun characters, some serious trouble, a bit of a mystery and this time around, a deeper development in the series storyline.
Hattie was shy, a bit withdrawn, and burrowed into herself when her problems arose. The fact that one of the bad guys (Is he really though?) was the one to help her see what she was doing, was interesting. The girls in this series are awesome and their support of one another just adds to my overall enjoyment.
As for Axl, he was so sweet and protective of Hattie. Being a KA hero, obviously he was all alpha, but he didn’t feel like the type that was right in your face. His quick understanding of Hattie and the emotional reason why she was burdened as well as his initial plan of what to do about it had me falling for him all the faster.
Hattie and Axl were perfect for one another. Both of them had father issues and while Axl was able to help Hattie, it was in a different area that she was able to help him. One that often had me choked up and when the final piece of it was on display for him to see, I outright cried it was just so special. The mystery evolved into something more and has developed some serious hooks in me. I see so much more happening in the future of all these amazing characters.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 26, 2021Format: KindleVerified PurchaseDream Spinner is the third book in the Dream Team series by Kristen Ashley and like every other one, it blew my mind! So much depth of emotion, a wealth of rich characterization, and a never-ending supply of intriguing and captivating story.
Hattie and Axl's story broke my heart and mended it, over and over. It was one HECK of an emotional rollercoaster ride of a journey and it was the sweetest torture I'd gladly support experience over and over again!
Hattie is such a beautiful soul, carries a lot of baggage, yet is still incredibly strong, even if she doesn't quite see that in herself.
Axl is driven and focused and tough and just a little bit rough around the edges and totally head over heels for a little dancer he cannot get out of his head.
This story is jam-packed with action, drama, mystery, and intrigue, but at it's very core it is a man and a woman finally getting the opportunity to explore something with one another, something they both deserve, both cherish, both work hard to keep, and it is magnificent.
So, if you're looking for some KA magic on the page that'll have you SWOONING, time to dive in and have some dreams spin you around!
P. S. I adore Brett.
P. P. S. I am SO EXCITED for Auggie and Pepper's story!
- Reviewed in the United States on September 18, 2024Format: KindleVerified PurchaseSometimes Ashley's books get a bit too much into the Not Like Other Girls Terretory it becomes irksome. Having a new boyfriend essentially say you'd be a pick me if you had an issue w him hanging out alone with the girl he was sleeping with WEEKS before dating you, and having EVERYONE agree with no discussion is a bit revolting. Then going into how you'd have to be a girl with serious issues for having ANY issue with that, wanting ANY discussion about it...eww. It felt like a brown smear on another wise good book.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 20, 2023Format: KindleVerified PurchaseI love Kristen Ashley's storytelling, the way that she blends her characters from series to series, and might I say her characters are the absolute bomb!!
If you’ve read the Rock Chick and Dream Man series you are going to love this one, you'll see lots of familiar faces thru out the story! The sisterhood is strong, along with all their alpha males from Hawk’s Commandos, oh and Tex love that guy!! We meet new characters who will have stories in the future!!
Hattie was incredible heroine, with Axl being just the hero that she needed. Their story was great and I loved them together
Now trouble would not be the same without Commandos and Rock Chicks, and we have a lot of them. Car chasing, gun fights, kidnappings….WOW!!
Loving this new series!!
- Reviewed in the United States on November 18, 2021Format: KindleVerified PurchaseKristen Ashley is one of my most favorite authors and I always preorder whenever I am aware she has a new book coming out. This is book three in the Dream Team series with Hattie Yates and Axl Pantera's story. Axl works for Hawk Delgado who runs a team of really really bada$$ commandos. He can best be described as handsome, deserving of belonging to Hawk's team, loyal, his father is a complete jerk but his mother loves him dearly. Hattie Yates, beautiful, unaware of that beauty, works at Smithies as a dancer and also is a very talented artist as well. She also has a father who has been abusive and has a caring mother who divorced her father. A lot happens as this story entails stalkers, dirty cops, and much intrigue
as they come together along with the Nightingale team, Cisco and his boys, Denver police and Knight Sebring as well as Chaos MC to solve murders, stalkers, and so much more. In addition the hotness level between Hattie and Axl is off the charts. Loved this story cannot wait for next in the series to see how everything unfolds.

3.0 out of 5 stars 🔸Axl & Hattie🔸
Format: Mass Market PaperbackVerified PurchaseAnother KA book devoured.
Another vacation almost ending.
Axl and Hattie had a sweet story, and for me very minimum drama. (I prefer maximum drama😈). But these stories gives me so many nostalgic feelings. I adore the universe created. I love how so many characters all get time to shine. It’s just such a happy feeling I get re-entering this world.
I am really looking forward to see the conclusion with all these cop suicide murders. With 3 books already having this issue, I hope for a big wrap up in Peppers & Auggies story.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing book
Wow. I absolutely loved this book. I’m so hooked on the Dream Team books I can’t wait for each one to come out. Hattie surprised me in a good way. She was smart funny and exceptionally talented and she gave Axl exactly what he needed. She stood up for him with class and grace. Axl was Hattoeks defender and protector and with that gave her the confidence to soar. Wonderful book. Cannot wait for Peeper’s book next.

4.0 out of 5 stars Un vrai plaisir de renouer avec Kristen Ashley !
