    This was the first book I’ve read by Ember Flint and WOW!!! I’ll be looking for more!!!🥰🤗

    This book was so sweet, romantic, funny and definitely spicy…. If you’re not into spicy open door scenes and dirty talking then you might want to move along….😉 but if that’s your thing then…. Just have a seat…and enjoy🤗🤗🤗

    Trudy and Jordan are absolutely perfect together. Trudy is amazingly strong. Her mother died when she was an infant, and aside from a short period when she was 10 when she had a loving adoptive mom who gave her her love of baking before she also passed way, she grew up in the foster system. Although she luckily wasn’t subjected to any abuse, she was alone…. She put herself through culinary school all on her own, got a great job and more training as a pastry chef and as she’s contemplating starting her own bakery… she finds her fiancé cheating on her…. It only gets worse from there as his family wants to save face and asks her to just get over it and deal…. And maybe lose some weight while she’s at it….oh and she’s supposed to drop her dream and be a society wife too….ummm…how about NOPE???!!!!
    She escapes to a little town in Colorado and after a few months opens up her very own bakery!!!
    Jordan is a young tech mogul billionaire that built his fortune and company on his own with hard work and determination. He’s a workaholic and relaxing stresses him out…his family continuously hassles him to take a vaca so he comes up with the idea of building a cabin in the mountains…where he can work in peace and quiet.. And solitude…. Until he has to come into town to get a new phone charger and his feet bring him to the new bakery in town…. Where he promptly loses his mind…and his heart, at first sight….and then he tastes her baking and can’t figure out how such a perfect Angel was just placed in front of him….
    Trudy has sworn off men… until this huge hunk of a man comes into her shop…looking grumpy and delicious…. And her heart seems to stop….
    They have increasingly flirtatious encounters daily for two weeks as Jordan can’t seem to stay out of her shop or away from her treats…And Trudy expects him to come in and ask her out on Valentine’s Day…. But it comes and goes without a word or glance from him…. Could she have been so wrong???? Is she doomed to be alone forever???

    Jordan can’t believe that his Valentines Plan to get Trudy once and for all has failed before it even got started when he has to return to the city to deal with an emergency at his company…will Trudy forgive him? He can’t bear to cause her pain….

    This was a perfect Valentine's day book! Jordan has always been focused on his business until he walks into Trudy's bakery. From that point she is his every focus. He wants to make a move but is trying to take things slow and work up to the perfect first date, on Valentine's day.
    Trudy is upset when Valentine's day comes and goes without Jordan showing up at her bakery. She was so sure that all the flirting was leading up to him asking her out but then he didn't show up.
    When he finally does show up Jordan knows he's going to have make it up to Trudy so that they can live happily ever after.

    As a former foster kid, she has worked hard to open her own business. Her whole life is been about building her dream. Business is booming now that she has finally opened her bakery and her best customer is also one she’d like to climb like a tree. He is a successful billionaire who fell for the curvy little Baker the first time he saw her. Now he just has to convince her that he’s all in. In its totality this was a very sweet story. Well, it is a short story format and you do not normally expect to get a lot of character development, the author spent a good amount of time on the page giving you a detailed backstory for each of these characters. The first quarter of the book is a buildup, alternating from each of their perspectives before they are even together on page. Well, I loved having a lot more detail than a normal short story, it also felt like it was overly descriptive, so much so that it wasn’t leaving much for the reader to visualize. However, once they were together on page it picked up. Things got steamy really fast. It was pretty much Insta love, and he was laying claim to his woman in a panty, melting fashion. In addition to the spice, there were some very sweet and romantic moments as they barreled towards their happily ever after. A sweet epilogue gave it even more depth.
