Christopher Artinian was born and raised in Leeds, West Yorkshire. Wanting to escape life in a big city and concentrate more on working to live than living to work, he moved to the Outer Hebrides in the north-west of Scotland in 2004 and has lived there ever since with his wife and dogs.

He released his debut novel, Safe Haven: Rise of the Rams, in February 2017. This was the first instalment in a post-apocalyptic zombie series. There are currently twenty-eight books available in the Safe Haven universe, including the best-selling and award-winning sister series, The End of Everything.

Also available from Artinian, is the fast-paced, best-selling survival horror trilogy, “Relentless”, and the new post-apocalyptic/dystopian series, "The Burning Tree".

In October 2017, he won the prestigious Zombie Book of the Month Award for Rise of the RAMs. In December 2017 he was also bestowed with the "Best New Author" award by the Reanimated Writers group. In addition, Safe Haven won the "Best Series" award in the popular GMZ poll. The End of Everything: Book 1 also won the Zombie Book of the Month title in May 2019.

    I was thinking if I'm ever in apocalypse, I'd want to be with Wren and Robyn. After further thoughts, I'd rather be with the author. He's given these characters their survive skills. I'd be the sister he didn't know he had. I don't know how he came up with these ideas but its interesting how they keep making it book by book.

    I enjoy following the adventures of Wren and Robyn in their world of the undead. These two girls have lost their mom and dad and have left Edinburgh trying to survive on their own. Every time they think that they are in a safe place, they are attacked, either by zombies or raiders. At present, they are at a place..again thinking they may be safe, but are they? I need to read The next book to find out and YOU need to start reading this fantastic series.

    Just when you think that Chris Artinian can get no better, he pulls another blockbuster out of the bag.
    We catch up with the sisters a little further on in their journey. They are becoming much more confident in their abilities to deal with their enemies, dead or alive!!
    As usual in his books, Chris knows how to captivate his readers from the first word until the last. We are right there with the sisters as they travel their tortuous route toward the Safe place and future settled life that they both dream of. What becomes so evident in this latest episode of the sister's journey is the progression of their relationship. Although they bicker, fight and argue, the visible bond between them grows and deepens by the day. It is very obvious that these wonderful sisters are very much together and heaven help anyone who threatens or hurts either one as they will have one extremely angry and protective sister to deal with.
    This is a another delight of a book, yet again the characters are so skilfully written that right from the off we identify with them. Chris Artinian is an absolute master of his craft. He knows his characters inside out and hooks the reader so beautifully that before we know it we are right there alongside them living their lives with them.
    I cannot wait for the next book in this series. As I've said many times before, Chris Artinian is one of extremely few authors whose books I would buy just because he wrote them.

We meet more new characters and Robyn and Wren finally feel like they might have caught a break that is until they find out things aren’t quite what they seem. I was hooked from the start of this series and it really does just keep getting better. I felt exhausted along with the girls after reading the last chapter. Brilliant series from my favourite author and can’t wait to see what the future holds for my two favourite sisters.
