Enemy Action (Book 3 of The Imperial Marines Saga) Kindle Edition
Andrea Tolliver and her friends are now Imperial Marines, sworn to protect the Terran Empire from all enemies. Too bad she hasn’t even had time to make friends in her new unit before civil unrest sees them deployed.
Once is happenstance. Twice is coincidence.
Separated from their unit, they must discover who is really behind the unrest and stop them by any means necessary. When the enemy strikes from the shadows, they must stand and fight. If they fail, the Empire will never be the same.
Three times is enemy action.

- Reviewed in the United States on March 12, 2022Please tell me this isn't the last book in this series. I love the characters, their insecurities, their strengths, their flaws. Lots of action, but the story doesn't get bogged down in it. No real twists, but with the action and character development in the storyline, that wasn't needed. I've read most of what Mixon has written and with this book, I was, once again, very entertained.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 28, 2024If you’re into action filled sci-fi without all the tedious, detailed explanations, this is the one! I’ve been reading sci-fi for over 60 years and this right up there with some of my favorites.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 12, 2022I really like the universe and the characters. The showdown at end was not a surprise. I rally like how well draw and competent the NCOs are. Too many books are officer heavy. Good NCOs are a godsend to any commander, Terry creates realistic officer and NCO relationships that are sadly lacking in other media.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 29, 2022Amazing read. Adventure and intrigue. Relatable characters that you want to like. I would place this author in the same league and style as my favorite, Jack Vance.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 11, 2023I really appreciate a good space opera. The did a great job of creating great characters, the tempo of the story, action, humor and most important, a plot full of surprises! I liked that I had no idea what was going to happen next! The ending was also superb!
- Reviewed in the United States on April 25, 2022Apart from a rank structure in a 400 marine company that only has one officer (and a lieutenant at that), the book is great entertainment and as always has the elements of complexity that occur in real life that gives richness to the story.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 26, 2022This is the last in a three book series about Andrea Tolliver, a genetically modified human. Rescued from the cruel Singularity as a 12 year old, she later joins the Imperial Marines and proves that she has what it takes. Not only that but on her first deployment she is instrumental in foiling a Singularity plot to gain a major advantage over the Terran Empire. The action is fast paced, the plot well conceived and the characters believable and appealing. The three books are a very good read.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 27, 2022Interesting premise. Good space opera. Andrea was decanted in a part of the universe that relies on cloning. Chance brought her to a part of the universe that relies on technology. She embrace s that life and is on her way to becoming an Imperial Marine. This is first mission.

5.0 out of 5 stars Enemy action is…
Brilliant, needs to be read, gripping and probably much more. This is a great saga and told in the words of a great story teller. If you have read Empire of Bones saga you will understand how this fits in to that timeline. There is so much I could say and possibly spoil it for you so simply put just read it, you won’t be disappointed.

A young girl being raised as a leader on a ruthless society develops, and ages with great pilot twists and action.

5.0 out of 5 stars read the whole series
A roaring good yarn; if I were 40 years younger I would not dismiss becoming an Imperial Marine. Waiting for more.

5.0 out of 5 stars Gripping
Read the book after a long time since the first two in series. Starts and takes you through the story line seamlessly. Thoroughly enjoyed the book, the story line and characters. Looking forward to the sequel. Thanks Mr Mixon.

5.0 out of 5 stars wonderful
I felt the last two books were a bit rushed but this one goes back to Terry’s brilliant storytelling style.
Excellent execution of a bunch of story arc initiations ..
Heartwarming. Some great new characters and plenty of scope to move forward
Nice work
