    As with all of this author's books, I was immediately drawn into the story and fell in love with the characters. Once again the world of bdsm plays an important part in the book but the characters are what it's really all about. Lydia was the perfect billionaire domme and Kat the perfect student (oops-- intern). Both had a past to overcome and I truly understood all their doubts and hesitations. They were both trying to get their lives back together. One coming to grips with being cheated on and the other one living with deep and lasting grief. Wonderful story and perfectly put together. There was a little bit of a shocker towards the end of the book but not totally surprising. I have to admit to having had a tear or two at that moment. I wholeheartedly recommend this book. It will not be an easy task to move on to another book for me. I need to take a few days to learn how to breathe again. Many, many thanks, Anna Stone, for sharing your amazing words and I will be looking forward to more in this series.

This couple Lydia and Kat were a breath of fresh air. Both lost their hearts and both pretended they could get by being cold to love. The story itself winds through the ups and downs of a couple entangled in a fight to not lose their hearts. I really wanted to see what happened to Courtney and hope in another book it gets mentioned because respecting privacy and knowledge should have been number one in working at Mistress and leaving that bit out just bothered me. I am a big Anna Cove fan and this book just added to the excitement I get whenever one of her books come out.

    I normally don't read erotica because it's written so disrespectfully that it puts me off as a reader. However, what Anna achieved amongst the relationship and characterization of the characters of Lydia and Kat, it made the story feel more realistic. Not to mention the relationship between them as a mistress and a submissive wasn't written as to where Kat didn't have a say because she did and Lydia reassured her of that and I enjoyed that aspect heavily. I do also have to add that the sex scenes/play scenes were written tastefully and I enjoyed that as a reader. I felt like I read an enjoyable story and learned a bit more about the BDSM realm. So, I definitely recommend!

This is another addition to the lesbian romance Mistress Collection. You can read each book as a stand alone but they are much better read in order. The sex is off the charts. The romance sweet and tender. Lydia is always aware of Kat's emotions and quick to be protective. None of Anna Stone's books are predictable. They always go in a surprising direction. There are not the usual misunderstanding or childlike dramas. This is a book about women and true feelings. Was hocked by page one. I highly recommend this book and can't wait to read what is next.

    I was so excited for this new book by Anna Stone and didn’t get disappointed. I was hooked from the start and fell in love with Lydia and Kat right away. I’m in awe of Anna Stone‘s writing every time I read a book by her. It’s just so sensual and beautiful. You totally wish being a part of it. Even if you might not be into everything they do. But Anna makes you wanting it. Lol
    And of course it’s not possible to actually be there with the characters, but Anna Stone was able to describe their feelings in a way that it was like being there, feeling what they were feeling. I was totally hurting with both characters and was able to relate to them. I highly recommend this book. Just like her others and can’t wait for more.
