- Reviewed in the United States on July 5, 2019This was a perfect weekend read. It was witty and had a nice helping of steam. Sage creates a fun and inviting world that anyone can get lost in. Loved this book!
This is a second in a series but can be read as a standalone.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 3, 2019This is the second book in the series and can be read as a stand-alone. Emma escaped from the abuse of her home by getting a full ride to Haywick University. She didn’t expect to find get involved in someone else’s family abuse. Chase keeps himself at a distance from others becomes of his father but Emma gets through. What will happen when Chase’s dad finds out she is pregnant. Fast-paced emotional read with great chemistry and lots of drama. I really liked it, great characters with lots of depth and a wonderful story-line.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 8, 2019This is a great romp. The kind of book you can finish in one afternoon and still feel completely satisfied. The characters were intense and sexy, but fun too. I loved the college setting. I highly recommend this story!
- Reviewed in the United States on December 12, 2019This is an awesome sexy short read! One sitting and I couldn’t stop reading ! Chase is so delicious! His story of redemption was totally swoon worthy!

- Reviewed in the United States on April 9, 2020Emma and Chase's path to finding each other was beautifully expressed by Sage Spelling. Chase has a reputation for being cocky and self-centered. He was always acting like he was entitled. But his reality is totally different. He has a father who is abusive and anything Chase does is not good enough.
Emma shares similar struggles like Chase in that she comes from an abusive home. She is drawn immediately to Chase. She knows he is putting on a façade and that he lies to cover up his pain. Emma sees Chase for what he really is, kind and caring.
The strongest hearts have the most scars. Their story was both passionate and powerful.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 26, 2020I love love loved this book!! Chase was hot, sweet, broken, and just misunderstood. But Emma understood him. I loved their journey so much! That ending had me in tears preparing for the worst but it turned into a HEA that still had me in tears! Phenomenal story ❤❤❤
