    For such a short story this packs in a lot of twists and an amazing story that I would expect in a book of about 200 plus pages but Stella Bella made it work in under a 100 pages and I feel like nothing was left out.

    Love that Jared is a single dad with a daughter Megan with diabetes and he puts he first even when he finds the forbidden love interest in a woman he didn't know would be a student until after the deed. Erin is his perfect match and knows that Jared must put his daughter above everything and she loves that he does even when its tearing her apart. This is the ups and downs of their journey towards each other of a time period. Fall in love with Erin and Jared just as I did

    So normally I hate romances where the hero and heroine are kept apart for years, especially when they’re student teacher ones. Luckily the blurb for this book made it very clear that was what was going to happen so I was prepared.

    I ended up liking it more than I thought. Probably because 1) I felt like he had a legitimate reason for really not being able to lose or change his job 2) There was zero ow drama. They both stayed loyal to each other.

    The thing I thought was weird was that she just kept ending up in his class and he wasn’t even surprised about it? I feel like maybe the author has never been to college, there are sooo many classes and professors. Also, since she was in his class at least for two semesters there should have been more classroom scenes. Especially a seen where he was shocked when she first walks into his class.

    Love Erin and Jared's story. Four long years and drama in between, but in the end it was all worth it. Absolutely hated what Erin had to face, but I loved that her and Jared's love never fades, only grew stronger while they were kept apart.

    Erin is at college and on her own for the first time ever. She's scared and at the same time, excited as well. With both her parents gone, it's just her and her older brother who's taken care of her and made sure she got to go to college.
    Jared is a single father raising his sick daughter with the help of his parents. It's only because of his job and the benefits he gets from being a professor that he can afford her healthcare.
    They meet when they literally bump into each other at a restaurant. What starts as an apology turns into a dinner invitation which turns into her first "Bow Chicka Wow Wow", which turns out to be mutually amazing!
    When they each find out he's a teacher and she's a student, they know they can't risk a relationship. She's worked too hard and he can't risk losing his daughter's health benefits.
    Yet staying away from each other as the days turn into weeks, months and years and circumstances keep pulling them toward each other, is a slow torture. Can they both keep their promise of staying away from each other or will the passionate heat they have make them risk it all?
    Passionate ecstasy turns into forbidden love. I liked it and I liked the MC's and how they handled their situation even how they cared for each other.

    Extracurricular With Mr. Abbot is a short and steamy, age-gap, instalove, OTT, forbidden student and teacher romance. Erin is a new college student out on her own for the first time. Jared is a hunky, single dad and professor. When the two meet before college starts, they instantly connect and share a night of passion. When Jared realizes she is a student where he teaches, he has to break it off for fear of losing his job. But both have fallen fast and hard. Over the next four years, they have a few forbidden interactions but try to behave. Both admit they love each other and just need to wait until Erin graduates. Their chemistry sizzled, and my heart broke as they had to wait to be together, but in the end, we got a great HEA. I loved this short and steamy read!.

    I loved the premise for this story, and the push-pull dynamic of the feelings between Erin and Jared; all of that worked and the emotional angst was good. It's an instalove and OTT story for sure, and I actually loved how even though they weren't in a relationship, those feelings only seemed to grow. Mostly the problems I had with the story were logistical in nature and not the story itself (seriously, how does he NOT think she might be a student when they first meet?). Just the details that aren't exactly accurate and seem to have been used for furthering the plot. The drama in the middle was a bit of a loop, but I actually commend the author for taking that chance and then addressing a lot of the consequences of it in a realistic way. Overall, this is an interesting, quick-to-read story that I would recommend.

    Erin met Jared one night when she was still new in town, that was all it took she was head over heels. Jared felt the same but when they realize he a professor at the college she is about to attend, he breaks it off, he has to put his little girl first.

    The pair share much heartache over the course of the years she is in college. Will they still have the same feelings when she has graduated? This is tough circumstances for both of them.
