    This book is actually made up of four separate books that have previously come out in the 1001 Dark Knight collection! The Gravediggers Son by Darynda Jones, Memories of You by J Kenner, More Than Possess You by Shayla Black and Securing Jane by Susan Stoker. Each of these Novelas were amazing to read. I particularly loved more than possess you and securing Jane because I’ve read previous books in those series from those authors. But all four books were extremely good and I highly recommend grabbing this book. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    General Thoughts for Collection: When I saw the chance to read this collection, I jumped at it. I had only read one of these authors before, so I thought it would be fun to explore some new ones. Authors often use these 1001 Collections to introduce readers to worlds and characters, and that's what happened here. I could tell that these novellas were part of an ongoing series and that there were a lot of cameos. But I didn't feel lost.

    The latest in the 1001 Nights series is arranged by trope; this one is loosely friends to lovers. I enjoyed the collection as a whole. I received an arc review copy for free and am leaving this review voluntarily. Thanks to the publisher.

    The Gravedigger’s Son by Darynda Jones I haven't read one by this author yet, but she's been on my list for a long time. This world seems fascinating. I could tell I was in the middle of a world/series with this one, but it was really enjoyable all the same. Darynda is a great writer, and I'd be curious to read more. This one is plot driven and super interesting and unique. Paranormal romance.

    Memories of You by J. Kenner This was one of the most traditional reads of friends to lovers, childhood friends who drifted apart who come back together. It follows a very familiar and welcoming storyline. Also in the middle of a robust world and story. This one was a fast-paced but enjoyable character-driven story. Contemporary romance.

    More Than Possess You by Shayla Black Shayla Black has been on my list for a while. So I hope to read more by her soon. This one was also a more traditional friends to lovers novella. What was interesting about this one is that it was told almost exclusively through the male's POV. That was lots of fun. A vacation love story. I thought it was enjoyable. Contemporary romance.

    Securing Jane by Susan StokerI have read Susan Stoker before, and I've loved the ones I have. Romantic suspense and lots of action in this one. I loved that the FMC was over 50. That is so rare, and that made this story stand out. I haven't read the others in this series by Susan, but now I'm dying to do so. This book was really well written and crafted. Thank you, Susan, for giving us such a cute older couple love story.

    If you’re anything like me, you’re a mood reader. Especially after I finish intense series or I’m just in a reading slump. Sometimes I just need a quick, happy, or sweet read to put me in a better mood. And that is exactly where this book comes in.

    This book is is a compilation of four different friends to lovers stories. The perfect book for any one’s bookshelf. The best part is it has all different kinds of friends. We have paranormal romance, military, romance, bodyguard, romance, and friends, helping friends out romance.

    The Gravedigger’s Son by Darynda Jones is a paranormal second chance friends to lovers romance. I really enjoyed this and the best part was that I got to get introduced to a new author and a new series since this is an offshoot.

    Memories of You By J. Kenner is a suspense fulled bodyguard romance. Once again, this is a part of an overreaching series.

    And then they’re is Securing Jane by Suzanne Stoker, the reason I got this book to begin with. This is a military/older couple friends lovers. I really enjoyed this one because they were a more mature couple so we didn’t have to deal with a couple of the tropes that are using other books.

    All in all, I’m very happy about this book. There’s a great book to have on my bookshelf for times I am looking for a friends to love story. And if you love audiobooks like I do, they’re all available with great narrators.

    As a longtime fan of Darynda Jones, I loved getting back into the world of Charlie Davidson with The Gravedigger’s Son. The reunion between Amber and Quentin was sweet and clearly long overdue.

    Renley and Abby's story in Memories of You is hot, spicy, and delicious. I loved their story.

    I'm still reading More Than Possess You and Securing Jane but be rest assured, I've added all the books from each series to my TBR.

    Loved this collection of novellas. Well written and a terrific mix of sexy fast reads. They’re the perfect blend of action, drama, suspense, romance, and sizzle. Written in styles that are straightforward and easy to read. I really enjoyed them!

    This book is four novellas each with a different story about friends to lovers trope.

    I enjoyed each story and the characters getting to know each other after a break or opening their eyes and seeing the beauty in front of them.

    The emotions in each story gave me all the feels and I loved it.

    I read two of these stories before but I was more than glad to revisit them as I enjoyed them a lot the first time around. The other two were new to me but I love both authors, so this whole collection was a treat. While friends to forever is not my fav trope I do enjoy it and the fact that I loved these stories so much is a testament of how good the authors truly are.
