I seriously never know what to expect when I read a book from her. She knows how to keep me on my toes! Forbidden to Love is no different! I’m sure I spent half my read holding my chest with nervous anticipation especially since she is known to take no prisoners in her stories. Leo and Natalia’s story was the one I was anxiously waiting for and to no one’s surprise, Siobhan delivered a banger! The dedication, the desire, the love…my gawd, these two just defined the saying, “love is eternal.” No one, nor time nor space could diminish their feelings for each other. They had a soul deep attraction, a bond that was irreversible and love that was purely unconditional. I stayed up until almost five am, leaving me just a few hours of sleep before work because I just could not put this book down. It had me wholly and completely in its grip. There was no sleep to be had until I saw it through to the very end. And even then I was left wanting more of these two. Ask me if I regret it? Nope, not a single second. Leo and Natalia were so worth it.

    HOLY MOTHER OF BOOK LOVERS! I LOVED EVERY FREAKIN MINUTE OF THIS BOOK!! First off I have to admit I had no idea until the end that Bennett and Sierra are the same characters from Condemned to Love and now that I do it's like, DUH! Lol! I never put two and two together. This book was so intense, now that I'm finished I feel like I can finally catch my breath. Now that I'm starting to calm down alittle I'll have to re-read it. Lol. The suspense had my heart pounding and at times I think my hands were shaking alittle. The excitement was through the roof. This book was filled with WTF moments. From the very first page I was consumed. The storyline completely captivated me and was like a rollercoaster ride of emotions that you can't get off of and don't want to get off of. The suspense and excitement was a constant throughout the whole book. Surprises popping up around every corner and constantly keeps you guessing. Some of the characters are so easy to fall in love with and others are so easy to hate, even despise. I absolutely loved Natalia's character, as she grows older she grows stronger. She has her life all mapped out for her by her mafia father. He's a very devout and trusted member of the mafia family and being a Don he is a very important man. So many moments throughout the book had me crying. The things poor Natalia had to endure broke my heart. When her and her mother Rosa were having their private talk when she was sick I was practically bawling. Her love for Leo went from a young woman with a school girl crush to full blown all consuming love, unfortunately for them it takes them a long time to get their lives in order. They both feel it but because of the mafia rules it's forbidden. There were so many twists and turns it left me with my mouth hanging open and scratching my head. Lol. It was exciting and chaotic and just when you start to feel a certain way about one of the characters something happens to make you change your mind. Leo is best friends with Natalia's brother Mateo and they are so close they're like brothers and they're both a part of the family business so to speak. Leo has feeling for Nat but since it's forbidden he keeps his distance but constantly watches her from a distance and both he and Mateo would do anything to protect her. And they do. There is so much intrigue and mystery around everyone and they all have their own agenda and there's alot of back stabbing and plotting. When Leo and Natalia decide to test the limits it's so explosive they melted the sheets. As the story progresses the intensity just keeps climbing until the suspense made my insides jittery. I loved every minute of it! When the book ended It was like a weight was lifted off me and I could finally breath. But it was all worth it. Siobhan never ceases to amaze me and I can't wait to see what comes next. I EXTREMELY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK TO EVERYONE!

    A really good story but a few things I couldn't get past and I can't mention them because they'd be spoilers. But these things were enough to pull myself out of the story because it was too much to bare.

    Most would consider this a 2nd chances romance but with what happens in between, for me, was a rescue mission. Loved Natalia but I think she would have been stronger-willed than she was portrayed because she grew up in the mafia surroundings. Leo was a my favorite character and I thought he had the patience of a saint.

    Good read but please check the triggers before buying.

    This series just keeps getting better and better. The book and the audible are outstanding. I read the book and then listened to the audible while I caught up on my housekeeping. This story is packed with drama, backstabbing characters, and intrigue. It was so rewarding to see Natalie involved in the resolution of all the difficulties associated with her last ten years of trauma. Some good Dons don’t survive, lots of bad guys don’t survive either. There is turmoil and it will continue through book 3. Natalie and her love get their HEA.

    I so enjoyed this story and feel in love with some of the characters. Very exciting from an emotional standpoint and from a mafia strategy point of view. Highly recommend the series and this book. I am sad it’s only a 3 book series. Enjoy!

Michael Gallagher and Sarah Puckett narrate the audiobook, and I didn't want to stop listening for a second, as their performances drew me right into the middle of all of the feels of Natalia and Leo and all of the drama of the Mazzone Mafia.

    I loved Condemned to Love. The cover could be a candidate for cover of the year and the book was definitely a top contender for my favorite book of the year. I have a short list of mafia book boyfriends and Bennett Mazzone certainly qualifies for that list. I was captivated with his story. The day this book was released in paperback it was a auto click for me. However it was a disappointment. Leo and Natalia shared this great love for one another but I didn’t feel the love. You can feel the love between Bennett and Sierra. This is the type of story you question if the books were written by the same writer. I didn’t find Leo or Natalia interesting. The positive was Bennett is a supporting character in the book. Mafia romances are one of my favorites and this is just a mediocre mafia romance in my opinion.

    Leo and Natalia’s story is truly one of a kind! Leo is the lowly and trusted mafia soldier of the Mazzone family. He is best friend and confidant to Matteo and Ben, but he’s also the one Natalia has secretly been in love with. The problem remains Natalia is promised to marry another upholding the archaic practices of the mafia families.

    Seeing these two have to hide their love was utter torture. You think these two are never going to find their way to one another for fear they will be murdered for disobeying.

    They encounter several set backs along the way, but when fate and time are finally on their side, utter magic!

    This was a story that I became so wrapped up in that I lost sleep, cried, laughed and was on the edge of my seat constantly. I fell in love with their love story and felt every bit of their pain mwhile they longed for one another.

    This is a standalone mafia second chance romance in the same world as Condemned to love by Siobhan Davis. It's Natalia Mazzone ( Bennett's sister) and Leo Messina's (a soldier working for Ben and his father and also Natalia's brother Matteo's bestfriend) story.

    “I don’t want that for you. You deserve better.”“I deserve you,” she whispers, peering longingly at me through her gorgeous blue peepers. “You deserve better than me, and we both know it.”

    I can't explain much of the plot without giving away spoilers but I can say that, Nat was the proper dutiful mafia princess who knew that she was going to be used as a pawn to solidify some contracts with other mafia families by being forced into a loveless arranged marriage and that's what exactly happens in her case. Problem is that, she has always loved her brother's best friend, Leo and doesn't want to get married to the monster that is her future fiance. Nat was really strong and opinionated, I'll give that to her. She was firm at her point and answered back to her father to fight for her freedom. I really liked her smart personality but life got into her way and circumstances trapped her in a marriage without love and affection but with huge responsibilities.

    “In every lifetime, I would choose you, Natalia.” Taking her hand, I place it over my heart. “We may be apart, dolcezza, but you will always be the only woman I love.”

    Leo always loved Nat from afar and even he tried his best but unfortunately he couldn't do anything to get her out of the inevitable fate that lied ahead of her. Nat & Leo's story was heartbreaking, painful and at the same time thrilling and exciting. It was emotional with plot twists that I really didn't see coming. The angst was delivered perfectly and reading Nat's point of view made me cry buckets. Regardless of all the pain, the book ends with Leo & Nat getting their much deserved HEA and the epilogue made me feel so dam happy for them! Overall, I loved getting to visit some known and unknown characters in the book and the bond between Ben & Nat was really heartwarming. I'm most definitely looking forward to reading the next book which is apparently going to be about Alesso & Serena.

    I always find myself at a loss for words when I finish a Siobhan Davis book because I’m unsure how to put the range of emotions I go through whilst reading into a concise no-spoilery review. If your the type of person who reads a book and lives every moment this is the book for you. This story rips you apart and puts you back together again in all the best ways.

    Forbidden to love is the second book within the same world as condemned to love these are connected stand-alone mafia romance books. It has everything you come to expect from a Siobhan book. It’s full of angst, love, heartbreak and screaming from the roof tops.

    Nat and Leo go through the ringer in this book and I love how their relationship is played out in this story. Her relationship with her sons even though well teenage boys pretty much says it all. I did not want this story to end I could have stayed in this book forever but alas all good things come to an end and I cannot wait to go in and do a re-read including Ben and Sierra’s book.

    A massive five stars for this story, for everything Siobhan’s ability to build a world that pulls you in a cast of characters that grab your heart and won’t let go. Throw in a couple of cameos from that cutey Rowan, and the relationship between Nat and her brother and sister in law and you have everything you need to know this book is going to be an epic read! I cannot wait to see what’s next
