Stealing Fae Heirlooms: A Fun, Fast-paced Urban Fantasy. (Magical Artifacts Hunter Book 1) Kindle Edition

4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars 203 ratings

I'm an artifact hunter not an artifact thief!

Being an artifact hunter is easy. Being the best takes time, dedication, and a huge hit to put me on the map. And nothing is bigger than finding my ex-boss’s lost collection of priceless artifacts.

So, when my search leads me to a secret, illegal artifact auction, it’s the perfect opportunity to snoop around. Too bad the Council chooses that night to stage a raid.

Luckily, I escape undiscovered.

Even better, I run into a rare artifact on the way out.

It’s ancient, it’s expensive, and could make my career as an artifact hunter. There’s just one tiny, teeny problem—ruthless Fae and part-Fae alike are after it, and they’ll stop at nothing to take it from me.

Delve into the Magical Artifacts universe, a fun, feel-good Urban Fantasy series featuring tricky Fae, magic, treasure hunting adventure, giant puppies, and a grumpy/sunshine romance.

Note: This is a continuation of my Magical Artifacts Institute series, but can be read on its own!

I thoroughly enjoyed this romp through Faerie, and on the back of a huge Fae Hound called Greenie, no less! I get grief on giving my cats names from their color like Red or Grey. The main characters are fun, argumentative, and in some cases you can feel the power of the more dangerous ones. Anyone who scoffs at that have had their warning. The plot is easily followed, and the premise is finding Fae artifacts and returning them to their rightful owners IF the danger of them using them against other Fae is not too high. I enjoyed the story and look forward to the next book.

Maddie is at it again! She gets fired from the institute and ends up at a secret auction with Lockhart. When someone tries to steal the Missing Star, Maddie grabs it and hides it. But the fae it originally belonged to wants it back and is willing to go to great lengths to get it so in great Maddie fashion she has to figure a way out. Such a great first book and im happy to see Maddie back in action!

Great story and characters. This is a series based off another, completed series, which is excellent, and I highly recommend, the Magical Artifacts Institute. I was so happy to see that the main character continues her story in a new series. The only real difference between the original series and this book is that the FMC was part of the institute in the first series, but she was fired. So this new spin off she works for herself but is dating (sort of) the head of the institute. They do not seem to have a very solid relationship, don't date much, barely talk. I am interested to see where the "relationship" will go.

I’ve read a ton of urban fantasies, and have very few favorite authors but Stealing Fae Heirlooms was the best poor mans vacation I have taken in a while! Can’t wait for the next book!

Maddie is trying to get clients for her Artifact Hunting business, but it is a little hard when you are associated with the Institute. She sets out with some help from her friends to show what she can do, when as usual trouble finds her. I love the characters in these series, especially Maddie and Greenie. She doesn't let anything keep her down and always has fun no matter what the circumstances.

She always has good intentions and generally manages to come out on top. Sometimes that seems to come more from luck rather than skill. She’s been sacked once again by the Institute, so she’s really gotta get her other career off the ground to pay the bills. The more desperate Maddie becomes, the more creative her solutions.

Maddie is back and I love her. You just cant be down when engaged in one of her escapades. Who else could both the Fae and the normals? And I'm jealous of her relationship with Aiden but if he left her, she would still have Greenie by her side. This is short but well paced. The kind of book you pick up when you have a day off and don't want to clean house or change the oil in the car. Each of these stands alone but benefits so much from reading the whole series. I recommend the whole series to anyone interested in this type of literature and you are hearing this from someone who does not read one author, over and over. I move on to another author, another genre but this series pulls me back.
I received an advance review copy and leave this review voluntarily.

This was a great continuation of Maddy’s story. I hope that at some point we get more development of the Aiden relationship. At the same time, I really appreciate that the story isn’t centered on their romance. Looking forward to the next!
