This book is a total page turner and I binged it over a lazy afternoon. Beau and Sunny had me in my feels. The roller coaster of emotions made me laugh, cry, and eat ice cream!     I loved the maturity levels of both mc and it was a really sweet story with an appropriate amount of spice. However, and possibly spoiler alert, although the conflict is made up in the end (as always, why else would we read??) I felt the mmc needed a bigger apology or the fmc needed a time period of demanding one or something…bc all this about the mmc “making his choice” then going no contact for WEEKS then waltzing back in and forgiven instantly with no mention of his disappearing act after leaving her alone to deal with the fall out and after math? Idk, doesn’t seem healthy but then again, what do I know

    Lucy is a wedding planner who needs a boost to keep her business afloat, and when she has the chance to cinch that boost with an article in Beau's wedding magazine, she's sure it's going to be exactly what she needs, and having the article center on her wedding is an absolutely perfect idea. Until she loses her fiancé.

    Beau is in a tight position. He might just lose the magazine if he can't get the perfect small-town wedding article to take it to the next level. The problem is that the couple the article is supposed to be about is minus a groom. What would happen if he stepped in to take that spot? Will they be found out and both lose everything?

    It's been a while since I've read a story by this author, but I thoroughly enjoyed this one. I love small town romances, and this one ended in the perfect HEA.

    Ok. Best have your tissues ready for this one! This is just the sweetest story with a lil bit of spice thrown in. I laughed a bunch as I read the exchanges between Lucy and her friends..and even Beau too! He’s definitely handsome, smart, and has a great sense of humor! Lucy is the quirky girl next door that everyone loves. I love a good small town romance and this embodied all the things small town you could ask for with a side of pecan pie!
