    I love the older/younger story of Graham and Avery. This story has wonderful anticipation and hot sex scenes.
    Femme, Avery, 25, with close cut dirty blonde hair, hazel eyes, had dropped out of college to become a Stylist and Make-up artist. He wears guliner and lipstick, and is the bride's "twinkof honor." Silver fox, Graham, 45, is the groom's dad who is gay. When he came out and divorced, she kept him from the kids for awhile, but he's there to support his son, Carter. Carter and Felicity are being married in a big event. Their family and friends have interesting dynamics. While checking out the ballroom before the wedding, Avery looks up to find the sexiest silver fox he's ever seem and heads straight for him. After flirting with each other, Avery finds out who he is, but seeks him out in the garden later, and they make plans to rendevous.     I really enjoyed this book. I thought that I would not enjoy it. The reasoning being in march I purchased j.m. dabney livingLivingston (Trenton Security Book 1). The summary gives no warning that Livingston is an age play/ daddy kink book that fits into the over all story arc of other series from that author. I had never read any thing from J.M. Dabney before so I was surprise (and not in a good way) that what I thought was a beauty and beast modern type fairy tale was actually very well written daddy play! That being said I decided daddy play was not for me. Then this book started to appear in my feed. It came with clear warnings and a really compelling summary, plus I have read other things from this author. I was pleased this author brought her A game to the daddy kink world for me who is a novice. I really enjoy that the characters took the time to explain what they like about the kink and how it made them feel. It really made me feel like I was growing with the characters.
    Quick summary : Estrange father goes to son wedding and meets the brides best friend, who happens to everything he's been looking for. Now, if only he can be honest, and keep everyone including his dick happy.

    This was overall a good read. I did enjoy it. I do not feel like it needed a second however if you fall in love with characters I completely get wanting more.

    Graham and Avery are great. I felt like the development of their relationship was missing as it was mostly spicy while saying that wasn’t the only thing they are looking for.

    I do encourage you to give it a try if Daddy kink is your thing. I feel like it represents that well.

    This book has a whole lot of what I like. May/December, when it's done right, is a favorite for me. Daddy kink is super hot and in this book, it's oh so sweet, too. I absolutely love the way Avery and Graham meet. Beyond both of them being at the wedding of Graham's son (groom) and Avery's best friend (bride), they 'run into each other' before they are actually introduced. Graham is Avery's 'catnip' as his friend says. He pushes all the buttons.

    There's a little (sort of ridiculous) angst near the end to create drama, I guess. But it's over rather quickly and it does give us another glimpse into the personalities of these two characters. The book ended very abruptly....like you don't even see it coming and boom. Over. But I read it well after its release date and so book 2 was ready for my one-click. It appears book two might have a bit more substance, and this was a sweet little intro to draw readers in. Works for me! I'd give this 4 1/2 stars and can't wait to read all the books in the series.

    This is a sweet and sexy daddy kink story. More caretaker than stern keep in line type daddy and boy in the sense of relinquishing decisions not age play. I really enjoyed seeing the quick attraction between Graham and Avery develop into something more. It was also nice to the daddy find he still had more to discover about himself as Graham’s and Avery’s dynamic shift from role playing in bed to a more encompassing lifestyle. It was an interesting path of discovery for them both with having to resort to a kink newbie plot line. My quibble with the story was that the points of tension were overdone and that sometimes meant they got in the way rather than helping as we don’t really dive into that plot point or it is resolved to easily. It would have been enough for Graham to be the father of the groom, not also an estranged father re-establishing himself in his children’s lives. The drama that develops around telling the bride/groom was enough without adding additional layers of secrets around that seemed to be there only to prompt an unnecessary fight. These are minor quibbles within an otherwise really enjoyable story, but enough to keep me from giving it a 5 star rating. I’m glad it is a series and we’ll see how these characters develop.
