Fight for You (A Beyond the Cove Novel Book 4) Kindle Edition

4.5 out of 5 stars 559 ratings

Is this a love worth fighting for?

One man is haunted by a past he can’t outrun.
One man is branded by a legacy he can’t hide.
One man is burdened by a guilt he can’t deny.

The usually peaceful town of Riverside Falls has had its very core shaken by traumatic events. Three men find themselves at the center of it all, thrown together by circumstances beyond their control.
Sawyer Levy came to Riverside Falls four years ago to escape from…well…life, but when he finds himself in need of care, he’s forced to trust not one but two men for the first time in years.
Grant Belford is riddled with shame in the tragic aftermath of incidents he didn’t see coming, blaming himself for the terror that rocked his town over the last few months.
Captain Mason Lockley is struggling with the recent events that have shaken up the quiet town of Riverside Falls, tormented by one thought, over and over again: Did he miss the signs because of jealousy?
Having no choice but to lean on each other, the three men suffering with their own demons aren’t expecting to have such an undeniable connection—or to fall so hard. It’s a love they don’t understand, but will they realize it’s worth fighting for?

***Fight for You picks up where Thirst for You left off. Therefore, if you would like to avoid spoilers from Thirst for You, it is suggested you read that book first in order to truly understand what the characters in this book are going through.
***There is a retelling of a violent event from an MC’s past. Though it is not told as it’s happening, it may be triggering to some readers.

I have been an artist from a very young age. From drawing cartoon characters and evolving into portraits, making jewelry, photography, and now writing. I have an amazing support system in my family and friends and couldn’t be more grateful.

I live in central New Jersey, love summers at the Jersey Shore, rock music, wine, sexy men, and laughing a lot with my amazing friends and family. Sunday dinners at my parents’ house are crazy, hysterical and you can count on a movie quote…or ten…being thrown out. Insults between siblings is how we show our love for each other!

When I’m not creating, you can find me reading books from my favorite authors. I’m a hopeless romantic, starving for passionate characters and always craving that happy ending, whether in reading or in writing my own books.

I have really enjoyed all of this author’s books, but this is absolutely my new favorite. This is an MMM story that follows immediately after the events of Thirst for You, so you should definitely read that if you haven’t. You should read all the Cove & Beyond the Cove anyway, cause they’re awesome, but that one really leads into this.
I loved the balance between Mason, Grant, and Sawyer. As with any poly relationship there is an extra layer of things to figure out to help ensure a happy and balanced relationship. Here there are also additional layers as they all overcome different vulnerabilities related to past events. They support and strengthen each other while finding their feelings and I really love how they mesh emotionally and yes of course physically too. Their emotions are portrayed with a lot of heart and there is plenty of heat too, lots of tangible chemistry connecting them.
I also enjoyed seeing favorite other characters, plus some intriguing possible new ones...I hope anyway that we will seeing more of them and future stories!
I loved this a lot and highly recommended it as well as the rest of the Cove & Beyond the Cove!

Sawyer, Mason, and Grant are lovely characters that all good use a loving hand or two to heal their wounds. This is the story of their greatest pain and deepest love.

I loved this story. The characters are complicated emotionally and put in tight quarters with the person(s) they desire. The book needs to be read after "Thirst for You" since this takes place right after that book ends. You need to read that so you know the backstory for this book.

I appreciate all that the characters have been through and all that they are going through. I love that one of them recognized that they need time and the others gave it to him even when it hurt.

Love these guys and their story.

It's no secret I love this author's books. All of them. I think she is terribly underrated, but I know soon, more people will wise up to her talent. All her books have very poignant, emotionally charged moments, but I honestly think this one takes first place.
Grant - the incredible amount of pain and guilt and just saw emotions he feels at the start of this book, comes across so real. It all practically jumps out of the pages. Mason - the strong one. So steady, so understanding, I think the guys really needed him. And Sawyer - man he was broken. He carried so much pain. It was clear to see how the characters complimented each other. We get some glimpses of Grant and Mason's relationship, and that was well done since it was already a somewhat established one. We see Sawyer get some closure which I think we all needed it by the end. As angsty as the previous book was, this is actually pretty easy. Not fluff, but no knives either. My only gripe - I wanted to see more family interaction with them as a triad with their parent, but that's because I'm greedy and always want more.

The long wait has ended...I've been so excited for this book to land on my Kindle you have no idea. I can honestly say this was my most anticipated book so far and I frickin loved every word.

If you've read the prior books in the series you know what happened to these men. The physical and emotional scars that were left after the attacks were talking a great toll on all three men. Each was fighting his demons and the attraction that was right below the surface. The slow burn was driving me crazy buuuut they need healing in order to move on. And when they finally came together??? It was pure MAGIC!!

They say true love always finds a way and nobody deserved it more than these three men.

If it's not clear I ABSOLUTELY LOVED this book and I HIGHLY recommend it!!!

    Sawyer...
    Grant...
    Mason...

What can I really say about these three that will make you want to grab onto this book and sit in their orbit for a few hours? Grant is torn with guilt over something that wasn't his fault... Mason is torn with guilt because he couldn't protect everyone even though he is human and can't do it all... Sawyer is fear-ridden by something that is not his fault and causes him to not show his true self to the world... Three Characters going through tremendous struggles but yet when they are together are much stronger that they can ever imagine. I am so happy that their story turns into an amazing hea. I can't wait to see who's next in this amazing series. I would love to see Liam's story told.

I really wanted to love this story. The premise is very interesting & I was looking forward to reading it. There was so much potential there. However, the level of angst & unrelenting uncertainty, along with no communication over & over bogged down the story for me. I like a good slow burn, but this was seemingly never ending. Sawyer, in particular stayed in his own head for far too long. Past the point of reason. I wanted to take him to therapy myself, just so he would make a solid decision instead of jumping to wrong conclusions like clockwork. Then agonizing over said wrong conclusions for extensive periods of time. Grant is in that boat too. Therapy was calling his name from even before we met him. Mason was unbelievably patient. No one is that selfless & understanding. He was my favorite character. I'm so glad that they got their happy ending. It just felt like none of us were going to get there.
I have been enjoying the series & will continue to read this author. I felt that this book could've benefited from some stronger editing to tighten up the story.

Great series! I love all the characters in this book, and absolutely looked Drew’s appearance!

The entire series if rather emotional, but this was really a journey in healing, physically for Sawyer and emotionally for them all. It’s about growth and acceptance. All good things.

I enjoyed how they started, how they grew together and just worked it out. Some steam, lots of emotion! Great read…

This was a great read from start to finish. You better have a few hours in front of you, because, if you are like me, you won't be able to put it down.

This story started in book 2 of the beyond the cove series, and I couldn't wait to see what would happen with these three men.

Sawyer, Grant and Mason together was amazing. I loved the heat, trust and love between them. Their story wasn't easy by any means as they all have to deal with quite a few things and deep rooted fears and feelings.
Their relationship thought felt so good and natural (and was very very hot) especially the way it slowly progressed.

Overall a great book that left me with a warm heart

The follow on from the 2nd book, from the attack at Zachs pub car park. Sawyer's story - you just knew it was going to be a hard one to follow, I hope the next book can keep up the momentum, because this series is so good.

A very well written menage story. There was a lot of emotion and feelings of guilt woven through the story. Soul searching for all three main characters, Sawyer, Mason and Grant. There was a lot of hot, steamy times too. I enjoyed this and look forward to book five.

I absolutely love this series. You do need to read them in order to understand everything. These three went through a lot to get where there needed to in the end. The three of them together is definitely something: hot. A good ending to put some ghosts to rest too. Looking forward to the next book in the series.

This book was a rollercoaster. It made cry so much and laugh how they bounced of each other. I wish this book was longer as i thought it finished abruptly.
