Filthy Disciple: The Disciples & Five Points' Mob Collection Crossover Kindle Edition

4.5 out of 5 stars 1,876 ratings

Now a Top 100 bestseller!

She was an assignment.
A selfish brat who'd run away from home and who’d found refuge in an MC.
A spoiled pain in my ass that I had to bring back to Daddy.
Only, Isabelle is nothing like the picture my initial research painted. Yes, she's a brat. Yes, she's insecure. And yes, she's a Disciple…sort of.
But she's so much more than that. So broken, yet so hopeful.
So lost, yet so eager to be found.
I found her.
But that means her father has too. Taking her home was supposed to repay a favor owed.
I just didn't realize that home was the most dangerous place in the world for her...

This is a complete standalone within Serena Akeroyd’s Five Points’ Mob Universe and Cassandra Robbins’ Disciples MC series.

An amazing joining of two of my favorite worlds. Love both of these authors and together they wrote the hottest, sexiest, steamiest story!

"You are mine, Isabelle."
If you know me, you know that I absolutely love Serena Akeroyd and The Five Points series. I also love MC series and have heard nothing but good things about Cassandra Robbins. So when this power duo decided to co-write a novel within both of my fave worlds & tropes, it was a no brainer instant need to read for me. In this story, you meet some new characters and some recurring ones from The Disciples. Cade has been sent on assignment by the Five Points to bring Cindy back home to NY. When he gets to LA, he quickly sees that the person who requested this mission was not honest. What was supposed to be a quick job to save Cindy from her "captors" turns into a fast paced, whirlwind, spicy romance. Cade and Cindy have instant chemistry. But can their new relationship survive if the start was based on a lie?? This story was a fun read. I don't normally care for instant love stories, but the way this is written is perfect. Hot mess express FMC Instant Love vibes FMC saves herself Character growth Meet under false pretenses Hilarious banter Tragic pasts Lots of chemistry HEA

In Filthy Disciple, Cassandra Robbins and Serena Akeroyd seamlessly and effortlessly combine two worlds to give us a delicious and evocative story! The writing was phenomenal! Never would I have guessed this was the first book the two co-wrote. I certainly hope it won't be their last!

I will preface this by saying I am very familiar with the Disciples series while not as familiar with the Five Points Mob series. However, I never felt lost or felt as if I was "missing" any vital information from other books in either series. So if you're new to one or both worlds, you'll have no difficulty following the storyline. Or if you're familiar with both worlds, you'll be in heaven with the cast of familiar characters that will greet you, probably peeve you off a time or two, and remind you why you fell in love with them in the first place!

I dove right into this story and was quickly consumed by it. Cade won me over instantly with his charm and easy smile, while Cindy Belle's story broke my heart. They were two lost souls, both needing to make peace with their past, thrust together in a web of lies and deceit.

I loved the familial feel of this book. Cade's Mom, sisters, brother, and The Disciples crew gave extra life to the story. Their presence showcased lighthearted moments of witty banter and teasing and the reality of shared heartache and painful memories.

There was growth and healing in this book.

There was also a filthy-mouthed hero who knew how to keep the heroine distracted when needed!

There could not have been a more perfect ending for these two.

Filthy Disciple is definitely in my top reads of 2023 so far!

Dive in and get lost in this interconnected world. I promise you'll be running to download all the books in BOTH series after finishing!

I wanted to read more from Serena Akeroyd and Cassandra Robbins so when I saw the audiobook for Filthy Disciple was available to review, I jumped on it, especially with narration by Maxine Mitchell and Joe Arden. While this title isn’t as gritty or dark as some of Serena’s other titles I’ve read, it had the right mix of plot, steam, and everything you’d expect in a mafia book. I loved the unexpected turns the story took, and how neither character was exactly who they seemed at the start. While there is a bit of an insta-lust to love plotline with tons of steam, outside of the love story there is also a ton of action and the story moves quickly making it hard to put down.

She was supposed to be an assignment. Find the spoiled runaway girl and return her to her father in New York. What he found called everything he knew about his assignment into question. She is a mess, but there’s more to her story than he was told. She is also affiliated with the Disciples, which makes his task even harder. He’s there to do a job no matter what it takes, but when he realizes that completing his task may put her in more danger than leaving her where she is, choices must be made.

When an author tackles both an MC and a mafia series, you know there will be a great story to be told. However, this one will surprise you multiple times in the best of ways. Sometimes when a couple falls quickly for one another, it pushes believability for me, but that was not the case with Filthy Disciple. I really enjoyed Cindy’s redemption story and Cade’s where he carves his place in the organization. While I don’t know everyone’s backstories as well as longtime fans of both series, this book did well as a standalone title and gave me an itch to binge the rest of both author’s backlists. I really need more time to read.

This book is on 🔥 . Lots and lots of heat between Belle/Cindy and Cade. It’s a quick read, surprisingly for Serena, but maybe that’s the influence of Cassandra Robbins, whom I have never read until now. I want to dive into her Disciples MC world.

The characters are crossovers from the Disciples MC, Belle/Cindy, and the Filthy Sinners, aka Irish Mob, Cade. It took me a while to place the characters and where they previously appeared. From Serena’s series we met the Disciples in Rex’s story. And from the Filthy Sinners, we met Cade in Aiden Jr’s story. The only discontinuity for me is that I don’t recall Cade being a screw up. He got shot doing his job. And I have to say I was less than impressed by his brother Lucas and their interactions.

Anyway, Cade is an alpha hero that is loving, kind and insightful except for his own relationship with Bella. Which he totally miscalculated. And his sister Kitty, love her, let’s him know it

Belle/Cindy is another matter. Her story is so unbelievable. It’s heartbreaking and was the hook for me. Sucked me in and had me cheering. I still think her disciple friends weren’t the best for her. Others might disagree. Best part of the story is how Belle fights her way back and stands strong in her resolution to be wholly loved by Cade or not at all.

Lastly, Serena can Kitty get her own book? I loved her!!!! 💕

Take two authors and have them collaborate; what you get is pure genius. Combining Serena Akeroyd's Five Points Mob with Cassandra Robbin's Disciples brings you the best of two worlds. A dirty-talking Irishman is put in charge of bringing home a runaway New Yorker who is hiding with a biker club in California that gives you a taste of two worlds that wouldn't normally mesh. Tears, laughs, and smexy times that contain pure fire are what you can expect in this sizzler.

Cade Frasier travels to California to "retrieve" Isabelle/Cindy Davis, where she is working as a waitress in a diner, becoming a patron who stops in for lunch every day to learn her work schedule and observe her habits. He watches her from his booth, hoping for the right time to snatch her from the deviant bikers that are holding her against her will. What Cade learns is the exact opposite of what the Five Points were told. Cindy isn't some drugged-up waif being forced to work and turn over her wages. He ends up in the right place at the right time to save Cindy from an overdose she accidentally gives herself. He starts calling her Belle, saying he saw her name as Isabelle on the medical forms. When she needs to get away from L.A., Cade convinces her to come to New York with him, despite her knowing she should be anywhere but there. Their attraction and physical reaction to each other burn brighter and hotter than phosphorus. It doesn't matter that they've only known each other for a matter of days. They can't keep their hands, lips, or body parts to themselves. As they spend more time together, Cade learns more truths from Belle about her father and her early years. He determines there is no way he can hand Belle over to her monstrous father. He needs to find a way to talk to the head of the Five Points, Aidan O'Donnelly Jr, to make him see that Belle's father lied to them about her circumstances. Cade is willing to make a stand against the mob boss for Belle and face the consequences for her. He introduces her to his mother and sisters, providing Belle with a family she has longed for and needs. When events turn sour, that is when hard truths are learned, and decisions must be made. Will they be the ones that mend all the brokenness inside Cade and Belle or tear them apart further?

5.0 out of 5 stars A perfect blend of both worlds

As a huge fan of both Serena and Cassandra, I was overjoyed to learn of this collaboration, encompassing the Five Points Mob and The Disciples universes.

This is a seamlessly written story, full of interesting characters, a great storyline, plenty of humour and lots of spice.

Cade imbues the charm and wit of the Irish. He is a dirty-talking sweetheart, who is sent by his boss (Aidan Jr, head of the FPM in New York) to 'rescue' Cindy/Isabelle from the clutches of The Disciples MC in Burbank, California.

Of course, nothing is as it seems or indeed that simple...

Cindy's backstory is heart-breaking, but she is a strong woman who is struggling and trying to make the best of her new life with The Disciples.

Both Cade and Belle are tortured by their pasts, and truly need each other to help the healing process despite the mistrust and deceptions that surround them.

There are some wondrous moments involving the Frasier clan, his sisters, in particular Kitty, were so much fun. Add in the dynamics of the Disciples crew and their antics and this gave us the familial warmth we come to expect from these authors.

A winning combination of romantic moments, spice and intrigue. The chemistry between Cade and Belle is off the page hot!

This is my favourite read of 2023 so far, and I reckon it will be hard to usurp. Congratulations ladies.
