Mick Williams moved from Stoke-On-Trent, England to Kentucky, USA. Then, after almost a decade, he moved back. Then, after three years, he moved back again.

This time he's staying.

In between reading, writing and listening to good music he still watches proper football and, for his sins, follows his local team, Port Vale. He does also still cheer for the Indianapolis Colts.

He was adopted by two cats, Crash and Thud, and resides with his patient wife (who is also tired of moving!) in Kentucky.

I enjoyed this story. I feel like I was hooked into the characters and their lives within the first couple of pages and without ruining the story for the next reader I'm very happy with how things turned out. Some get what they deserve and others, well you'll have to read it for your self.

    I've read everything else Mick has written, and thought I knew what I was getting into. Nope! While it may feel like it drags a bit sometimes, it's subtle backstory that is truly going on. Pay attention to everything. Just when you think you know what is happening, Mick turns it around. Great action.

    This book was great!! Just when I thought I had it figured out, a twist would happen! Has a “Dexter-esq” style but even better. 10/10 and I am so excited to check out more of Mick Williams writing! I love a book that keeps me guessing to the end and this did just that!

    I was not expecting to be into the storyline from the description, but honestly this may have ended up my favorite book from the author. It has a lot of unexpected twists that keep you guessing. Stick with it - you won't be sorry.

    Although the book does have a customer murdered, it's so much more than that! The name is very misleading. It's reminiscent of Dexter- is the MC good, does he have a conscious or morals? The only thing I felt was missing was backstory on the girlfriend... I felt it was hinted at several times, but never explained.. I did enjoy this story

    I really liked the main characters in this book and loved the dynamics between Brody and Javier. The way the author describes a violent action, and then brings in some sweet, funny parts into the story, is a definite skill. The story flows beautifully, and I love the way the author makes you root for a character who does bad things. I have 2 more books from this author and I look forward to reading them.

    I have read all the books this author has written and all are very different. He seems to be able to turn his hand to all genres. I really enjoyed this one and although I shouldn't have really liked Brody (the main character) you really can't help but feel empathy towards him.
    It easily could be made into a blockbuster movie! Can't wait to read Mick Williams next release 😁.
