    Being on the run while helping fellow rare shifters find a safe place to hide is an every day event within Everly's life. Since he was a young child he knew there was something different with him, something special. As he grew older, little by little Everly began to realize just how special he was. Especially to those who would decide to hunt him and every other type of rare shifter within the surrounding world. He wants to take a stand though, to show just how strong of a man he can truly be by helping those of his kind.

    Kyle is looking to do something more within the world surrounding him. Much to the disappointment of his mother, he looks into the Alpha's idea of helping to make the pack they live in that much more secure. Little does he know that by doing this not only does it open the rains to his mother's rage but he also finds the one man that was created just for him. His mate.

    Together the two must build and secure the bond that's slowly building between them. And, in the same breath, together help to keep the rest of the pack safe from those whom may be hunting the many rare shifters living within the pack. When Everly is captured everything changes.

    I've been waiting to read more about the rare shifters within this series. They are captured perfectly within the book, making the read not only easy but also gripping. Totally a great addition to this series, and one I would always recommend!

    Microchips are not radio transmitters. There is no way a teeny tiny microchip injected in someone’s arm could be used to find them. Have you seen them run a scanner over an animal to check for one? Have you seen the big bulky radio transmitters they attach to animals? The only thing a microchip would be good for is if the authorities found your dead body and happened to notice it. If the author is going to use technology as the answer to a problem she should understand it.

    Well written, moves series along, but I found it lacking in resolution & hoping their story continues in next book. Possible spoiler at bottom!!!!!

    Everly rare griffin shifter, constantly on the run, Kyle, wolf shifter w/mommy issues.

    *** possible spoiler: Kyle’s whole angst is his mom & there’s nothing. Just you’ll regret this & she’s never mentioned again.
