    Bailey is an omega who just graduated from college. He still lives at home to help out his father with his younger siblings. Bailey got a seasonal job at the Barrington Christmas Market as a Christmas elf. He is expected to help out with all the booths and guide visitors to places around the market. His favorite thing to do is to help out Crispin who has a bakery booth. Bailey has a crush on Crispin but he feels unworthy of his attention. The two do flirt which gives Bailey hope that he has a chance.

    Crispin's dream is to have his own bakery. He and his friend started their new bakery and it has been a success. Then his partner gets offered a place at a prestigious baking school and he asks Crispin to buy out his share. The baker that his friend hired quits after a few weeks leaving Crispin to do all the baking for the bakery and the Christmas booth. He needs the booth to be a big success but a former friend keeps trying to sabotage Crispin's work. Crispin doesn't have time for a relationship but he can't resist Bailey.

    This isn't a very long story but it is a cute continuation of this series. I enjoyed Bailey and Crispin's story. There was just a thing that was left up in the air for me.

    Bailey is an omega and the oldest child in his family and he is helpful to his father who is widowed and trying to hard to make sure that all of his kids have what they need. Bailey is also a helpful elf at the Christmas Market and he is interested in Crispin, an alpha baker with a kind heart who is likewise interested in him. Crispin is dealing with a competitor that wants to disrupt his business and get him evicted. It turns out that getting together will be a good thing for Crispin, Bailey and Bailey's family. Love at Christmas sometimes means you band together and don't have to choose who to be with - family or the man you fall for.

    Couldn't put it down. It was a short and sweet faster paced story about and Alpha and Omega who don't think they are in the right place in life for a Significant other. They work together to help each other out of a tough spot. Absolutely loved this book and love this author!

    'Flirty Elf' is the second book in the ‘Omega Christmas Elves’ series, which is set in the Bangers & Mash universe. This is told in first person from Crispin Merriweather and Bailey’s povs.

    Even though this was the second book in this series, I didn’t have any trouble following what was happening in the plot. Bailey’s group of friends play a role in this book, and I’m guessing they will get stories of their own later. It seemed like one friend was probably written about in the first book that I didn’t read. There is reference to a heat inducing pill that was mentioned in the Banger’s and Mash series book, Heat Lightning, which I did read. You might want to read that book which will give some background that is going on in this book.

    This story has a definite Christmasy feel to it. The blurb gives a decent description of the plot so I won’t go into it much. The plot mostly takes place at the Barrington Christmas Market where Crispin and Bailey’s romance grows. Also present is Crispin’s arch enemy, Al, who is extremely jealous of Crispin and anything he achieves. Al sets out to sabotage Crispin at every chance. Bailey felt obligated to help his Alpha father look after Bailey’s siblings after his omega father died. I didn’t like how Bailey’s Alpha father depended and guilted Bailey into doing that. The whole family depended on Bailey far too much. I would have liked a short epilogue with how Crispin, Bailey, and the family had settled in, maybe a scene during a holiday. I feel like the ending was left on sort of a cliff-hanger.

    I liked both Crispin and Bailey. Crispin is a kind and friendly Alpha, and Bailey is a confident and take-charge kind of omega. I liked how the author had both characters notice how their alpha/omega hormones controlled them when they were around each other, and that especially Bailey, found it strange how he wanted to be submissive and defer to Crispin even though that wasn’t how Bailey normally behaved.

    I enjoyed 'Flirty Elf'. It’s a fast read with a Christmas feel, and can be read as a stand-alone even though it’s the second book in the series. However, I think reading 'Heat Lightning' in the ‘Banger’s and Mash’ series, will help explain the heat pill better. I give this book, 4 Stars.

    Bailey is working as an elf at the Barrington Christmas Market, helping all the vendors in his section with whatever they need. He especially likes helping Alpha Crispin at his bakery display, flirting with the hot Alpha, hoping for more.
    Crispin is drawn to Bailey, the cute omega, and would like to spend time with him away from the market, but he is so busy baking when not at the market, there just isn’t time — until Bailey offers to help him out one night at the bakery. Things heat up and suddenly, they are more than baker and elf. How they work to get to their HEA, despite vengeful competitors, booth judges, and family commitments is a tale in itself. Cute, sweet, short story with engaging characters, varied interactions, a problem to solve and help from an unexpected quarter.

    Wonderful story at the Christmas Market featuring Bailey, an elf and Crispin, a booth owner. Bailey has to help his family and Crispin has to save his business but together these two are amazing, and are just what the other needs. Quick fun holiday read, so snuggle in and enjoy.
