    Great start to the series. This is full of steam , fated mates , murder, mystery,action packed. A chance encounter when she is young with a spiritkin reunites later in life coming to her rescue when a shel falls on her almost killing her. She meets her fated mates and they are smitten but she is just as stubborn. You gotta love her besties who make you smile and liveing things up. I can’t wait to see what’s in store next.

    I didn’t finish I got to 80% and just couldn’t finish. The book is very obvious and while I’m happy it’s a standalone I wish it was shorter because it’s riddled with useless information and redundancies. The FMC is a piece of work she’s selfish mixed with a bunch of Ms. Independent but lacks understanding for the guys. Her friends set her up instant forgiveness but the men help every time she chooses to run away which is a lot and they have to earn her lol after she’s already slept with them and other things. I just can’t the plot was there which is why I tried but the character is not one I like.

    I liked this book overall. The characters were interesting and I liked some of the secondary characters as well. What I didn’t like or resonate with was the injury and quick recovery. I didn’t feel that was realistic (yes, I know this is fantasy and yes I know it has shifters and fae and vampires). I also didn’t feel the snake was as integral as it appeared to be in the beginning. Seemed like Beans was forgotten about. Despite those things, I did like how things turned out and I would love to see more from this world.
