About the author

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away... well, not really that long ago... or far even, but for the purpose of this description we will pretend... A boy-child was born to a pair of loving parents, and this boy-child would grow, nurtured and loved... but also steeped in the culture of the 80s and 90s, so you can probably guess how he turned out... As a gamer! A lover of Sci-fi and Fantasy books, and a student of Computer Science.
All of these things have merged together, like Captain Planet and the Elements... nah, Voltron (The lions, not the wierdo cars). Much cooler, to form the man, the myth, the published, J. Arthur Klein.

- Reviewed in the United States on February 10, 2024Can not wait for some more additions to the story. Hope more books are com8ng soon. Some editing/Grammer issues, but a great read non the less.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 15, 2023Loved this book so much. The only downside is I already want the next one and it isn’t out yet. Such a good story.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 17, 2022The OP MC stumbles around quite a bit but always ends up OK. If he sneezes, he gets another level in strong breath and a page of his stats comes up. I didn't really mind, but I don't think this model can be sustained for a long series.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 18, 2022J. Arthur Klein did a fantastic job with this third book of theirs. Love the humor and the dungeon delving was very well done.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 20, 2022Excellent writing style. The pacing of the story is well done, and I haven't really felt it dragging. The RPG system is a tad confusing, since there is a point about skilling up at the same level as the character level, but it doesn't seem to make a difference. The characters are well written, and the author teases the depth of secondary characters which I am hoping to read more about. As is typical, this book end on a cliffhanger, teed up for the next quest. It's light, it's fun, and I won't say I am dying for the next one, but I will definitely rest it when it comes out.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 12, 2023I love this series and my review skills are simply not up to the task of giving it is proper due. book 3 continues along the same lines as 1 and 2 with a great story set inside a massive dungeon
- Reviewed in the United States on January 12, 2023Stellar work once again from J. Arthur Klein! Lots of action and adventure, leveling and magic. Looking forward to the next one!

5.0 out of 5 stars Sun, sea, and sea monsters!
Honestly, the dungeon diving was awesome, the various gods and creatures, and the game itself? Bloody brilliant.
If you love rpgs, you’ll love this, brought back serious nostalgia along with a deep seated hope that VR gets it’s act together soon!
