Jillian Jones is finally back with a true love story that cuts across cultural divides.

Maya has left her life in Mumbai as an assistant seamstress in Bollywood to seek refuge in London before returning to an arranged marriage. The story really begins four years later in Greece where she has fallen for Nikos, her boss's boss and her best friend, a man her parents forbid her to marry because he is Greek and not of their faith.

In spite of all the gorgeous women that his parents and friends set him up with, Nikos has sworn to bachelorhood until he's given an ultimatum to be married within a year in order to take over the family shipping business, and of course, the woman must be Greek!

Author Jillian Jones penned a long, steady, slow-burn, build-up to this romance. Both want to honor their parents and the religious, cultural expectations placed upon them but cannot deny that their very special friendship has grown into so much more.

I really enjoyed Maja and Nikos as human beings who were kind, caring and hard working. And Angelica is just a sensational, manipulative secondary character that I wanted to throttle throughout the entire book! But I really loved the very satisfying conclusion when Nikos finally "grew a pair!" Welcome back, Jillian Jones, you have been missed!
