    Oh how I loved being back with Liam and Gabriel again! I adored book 1 and loved this book just as much. We jump right back into their world, one where Liam absolutely adores Gabriel and Gabriel loves Liam and has accepted his slightly altered morale compass.

    I can’t count how many times I’ve really loved a Book 1, but felt let down by a Book 2. Not this time!!!

    Gabriel and Liam’s story continues with Book 2, and it’s just as delicious, exciting, and funny as Book 1. It’s interesting to delve into Liam’s past as the basis of the mystery Liam, Gabriel, and the police department have to solve. Gabriel and Liam’s relationship continues to grow and deepen; meeting Gabriel’s family and the potential of moving in together. I also can’t tell you how many times I just outright laughed out loud as I read.

    If you’re reading this and haven’t read Book 1, do that now and then buy this story. As you do that, I’m sitting here at home crossing my fingers and saying little prayers that there will be a Book 3!

This next book deep mystery to unravel and the twist and turn just a page turner. This book made me finally crack and watch Dexter - I put it down as "sick people watch that show". Which I told my son. Now once I read this book watching Dexter with my son season 2 Wow! If you like one you will love the other. MM romance makes the book.

    Alice Winters gives us more story about Liam and Gabriel in this second Deadly Mistakes book and it’s great. Ms Winters again does a great job of making Liam sympathetic without just giving lots of excuses for his behavior. He does only unalive people who are bad themselves, but he still enjoys it and in a way needs it. She perfectly writes that fine line that makes him such an interesting character without excusing what he does. He also never becomes a caricature. Gabriel is not as interesting, but I don’t think that is a fault as we all need a side kick or foil and Gabriel does that well. I must say that Gabriel does become a bit more interesting in this book as we learn more about him.
    You can really feel how much they are changing each other for the better and they are a delight to read about. One of my favorite bit is when Gabriel and Liam are hugging in the shower and Liam thinks “I can forget about everything when I’m like this. I can just close my eyes and feel at peace for the first time in a very long while”. Isn’t that what we all need?

    Someone from Liam’s past is mixed up in some murders, at first Liam thinks she’s innocent but things don’t add up. Gabriel realises he can’t live without Liam because he loves him that much, and when Abby tries to blackmail Liam it scares Gabriel. Things work out in the end.

    There is funny, laughing out loud parts which makes the story even better.
