    A wonderful story for young children. It has a lot of magic and fantasy (fun!) as well as a moral lesson about empathy and kindness, which is always great to see. The main character is sweet, and the constant change in her size (from big as a dragon to tiny as a grasshopper) keeps things super interesting.

    The book also introduces young readers (and listeners) to a few simple phrases and metaphors which will broaden their vocabulary. During these formative years it is invaluable to introduce new language and ideas to children.

    The book has wonderful illustrations on almost every page, and short chapters which mean one or two a night would not be too intensive for either parent or child. It really is a lovely little book with a charming story inside.
