For cozy murder mystery fans, this book is just up your alley. With delightful characters and plot lines this is an enjoyable way to spend a rainy afternoon.

I’ve read all 9 of the books in the Tea series in the last couple of days - all are short. All of the plots are well done; well thought out, as are the descriptions of the English village and surrounding countryside where the books take place (I’m American but have traveled through the English countryside). The progression of the main characters’ lives through the 9 books is also fun to observe. The only distractions are the typos and need for better editing but I eventually just tuned it out. Note: not Roderick- Jan - we share our Amazon account. Also, I was disappointed that there’s no release date mentioned for book 10 at the end of book 9, just the title - I’ll check for it periodically!

I’ve wondered when Lily might become a suspect—I was interested in her reaction: surprise that a friend might repeat what she’s said, shock at being semi-interrogated & then upset when she realized she was truly a suspect and her horror at being placed in a cell. I did not see any understanding of how others might feel about her using their statements to see if they might be guilty of a crime. I’m always interested in how ‘nosey Parker’s’ who are interested in crime detection assume they are ALWAYS in the right…but keeps me coming back! Another winner.

The Tea & Sympathy Mystery series are usually a fun and easy read, but this one was different. The murder didn't take place until well passed midway and the typos not caught in proof reading slowed it down. But, the biggest reason I rated it less stars was the blatant inconsistency between the name of the Mayor in Book 8 - High Tea and Low Opinion versus this book. Who is Susanna Bates?? This is a bigger mystery than who killed the artist!

Have just finished the 9th book in this series and I loved them all. Can't wait for the next book. The stories just flow from the pages because the writing is so good. Love the way the author has developed the characters as the stories advanced.

Thrilled to find more in this delightful series. Lilly is suspected of murder, so has to find her way out of the tangled web around her. Great story, good characters and a welcome read.

Green with Envy continues to entertain followers of The Agony Aunt turned tea room aficionado, and part time murder sleuth. Fun short cozy. Note: lots of editing errors. NTL it does not distract from a good plot line.

I really enjoy this series but was slightly surprised by how far into the book it was before the crime took place, leaving little time for any investigation. Even then Lily and Archie kind of fell into the solution rather than investigated and reached a conclusion. So for that reason this book gets four stars rather than five. Oh! I also agree with the reviewer who mentioned spelling mistakes. There are quite a few in this book.

I've loved everyone of the Tea and Sympathy books, I just wish the author and publisher would take more care around continuity and proofreading, hence 4 stars not 5.
