About the Author

Madeleine Dauer is a classically trained stage actor, theater artist, and professional film actor. Her theater work focuses primarily on classic texts as well as collaborative, devised pieces that heavily feature movement and puppetry. She has performed in New York City and throughout Connecticut.

Erik Bloomquist trained classically at the London Dramatic Academy and holds a degree in theater and dance from Trinity College. He was nominated for a New England Emmy(R) Award for his performance as Allan Archer on the nationally syndicated series The Cobblestone Corridor. A member of Actors' Equity Association, Erik has extensive screen and stage credits, including stints on/at: PBS, Lifetime, Travel Channel, American Heroes Channel, Hartford Stage, and Ivoryton Playhouse. Erik is also a notable (and Emmy Award-winning) writer/director, Halloween enthusiast, and member of Connecticut Magazine's "40 Under 40: Class of 2019."

Nichole Rose is a romance author living in the Pacific Northwest. Her books feature headstrong, curvy women and the alpha males who adore them.     My first favorite is Noah and Aspen’s story (Book 4). This book has funny comments from Atlas. He really is very straightforward and relentless. Gabbi is a strong woman and I liked that about her. Things I loved about the book: they are both virgins - they waited for their special person, Atlas being insistent in pursuing her and talking straight to her brother: “I’m marrying your sister!”, that there is some adventure/action that stressed me out until they were safe, the way she did everything in her power to save Atlas’ life in the cabin, their chemistry, their love. I just loved the book. I totally recommend it.

    First, let me say that I've been a HUGE Nichole Rose fan for years now and have read almost all of her books (and loved them). However, I really couldn't stand the FMC. She almost got the MMC killed because of her "naivete". Being naive is one thing, being reckless at the expense of someone else's life is another thing entirely. To be fair, Gabbi does blame herself for everything that went on - as she should.
    All that being said, I still did enjoy the book overall, but Gabbi is kind of the worst.

    Gabbi’s brother Jordan, who happens to be Atlas’ boss, is the foil character, driving both MCs towards each other. The reader will also be left with anticipation for Jordan’s own forbidden romance.

    Atlas is a little bit crazy and I adored him, even if I was left scratching my head at his antics and FILTHY mouth. I rooted fervently for sassy Gabbi, even as her attempts to resist Atlas were futile.
