About the author

Author, illustrator, and dentist, Ramya Julian finished her first novel at the age of ten and she avers it was very well received, though it was read only by her brother. She has all the hobbies of a maiden Victorian aunt – reading, writing, painting, crocheting, knitting and sewing, and the temperament of one. When she’s not guilt-tripping her two daughters into good behaviour, she can be found devouring books, crafting poems and puns, and chuckling at her own witticisms. She grew up in India and now lives with her husband and their two daughters in London.
She has experienced so much joy through the enchanting artistry of many authors and creators, that she aspires to share at least some of it through her writing.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very easy for kids to understand
I found this book very colourful and simple for students to understand. I read it for my kindergarten class to learn about Gandhi being hero. I like how the words are broken into syllables to make the harder words easier to pronounce when reading to the children. I like how it ended with one of Gandhi’s famous quotes as well to make the children think. I would recommend this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Großartig
Sehr informativ mit freundlichen Illustrationen, die auch für die ganz Kleinen geeignet sind als Gute Nacht Geschichte. Das Buch liefert alle wichtigen Charaktereigenschaften über M. Ghandi und besonders gut hat mir der Hinweis gefallen, der das Selbstbewusstsein der Kinder stark macht: Das kannst du auch! Absolut empfehlenswert und pädagogisch wertvoll.
