    I've read all of Nicole Snow's MC romance books so far, and I'm really growing to like them. They're a bit different from what I usually read, but in an interesting and gritty sort of way. Everything's very raw and real in a sense, which makes the stories a lot more intense.

    That's basically what you should know going into this. Sometimes it's dark and rough, but these are still love stories so there's romance, too. It's just a different sort of kind, you know?

    Saffron's not really in a good place in her life. With her mother not being able to really support herself, and her brother having left, it's up to her to support them. This might not be so bad, but it's hardly easy considering the situation she's in. With some really bad motorcycle clubs roaming the area, there's not a lot of work around for people to make an honest living. You're either with them or you're against them, and there's not much more to it than that. She manages to survive, but... she's sort of forced into doing it in not the best of ways, working as a showgirl at one of the MC clubs.

    Blaze isn't a nice guy, but he's nicer than the alternatives. He's crass and rude and rough, but he's also safe and protective and loyal. He doesn't want to hurt anyone, but he's the kind of man who realizes that sometimes what he wants doesn't matter. Not everyone feels the same way, you know? Some people enjoy suffering and hurting others, and sometimes you can't just sit back and watch that kind of thing happen. It's sort of a "fight fire with fire" situation, I guess.

    Saffron and Blaze aren't really good for each other, either. He doesn't want to get tied down, first off, and she really doesn't want to get involved with someone like him, but...

    Their story is definitely interesting. It's sweet in a way, but uh... in a darker and violent sort of way? No idea how else to put that! They've got some rough times ahead before they realize what they really want, and even then, I don't think what they want is going to be the best for either of them, but...

    I think that's what I really enjoyed about this story. There's a sense of impending doom all around it, where you just don't know what's going to happen. It's intense and rough and raw, and maybe it's bad, but it's bad in a good sort of way. It makes you think about a lot of things and situations that you might never want to really be in, but the situations that people find themselves in sometimes. Can we still make a good life for ourselves even in the face of such harsh adversity? Is there still love and romance for people like that?

    If you like biker romance stories, Nicole Snow has some of the best, and Savage Kind of Love is definitely a great one. It's got all of the things you could want from a story like this, and then more, too. It's kind of a roller coaster rough motorcycle wild ride (it's a lot of things!), and I'd really recommend it for fans of the genre.

    Shelly "Saffron" Reagan knew two things, she never wanted to be a stripper and stay away from bikers. Stripping was a means to an end, with an invalid mother and mounting bills, Shelly gets by doing what she can, after all even if her job is tainted, she is not. When Shelly is attacked, she is taken care of VP biker of the Prairie Devils Montana MC, never thinking she will ever see him again.

    Michael "Blaze" Sturm has enough on his plate. He can't stop thinking of the beauty named Saffron, but as new President of the local MC and a few renegade outlaws from another MC he can't get involved in something with an innocent civilian, primarily because he doesn't do relationships. However when Saffron finds herself in trouble again, everything changes. Blaze decides he wants her as his old lady and is determined to have her.

    This was very good except there was a few time issues. All the sudden your reading and it is three weeks later which is confusing. Not sure if this is how it came across on the kindle or what was the issue. That being said the overall story was gritty, intense and if you like biker stories worth picking up. Blaze is a straight talker, filthy, and pure male stud. He has a soft side that really is only shown with Saffron. Unexpected surprise.

    I keep stumbling on these books as they are published and I recognize them as part of a series I have already read which keeps me reading them even though I can't remember these characters very well or past story lines. So that being said this story could be read as a one shot for people not into the series thing. Each of the books is a full book. I'd like to say read them all to get a better idea of some of the pieces of the story but I can't even say that. Past characters come back but they are not the focus of the story. And like I said I can't remember the other two books and did fine.

    I liked that there were parts of this story that made me uncomfortable. The things that went down with her mom and then her brother. It made me uncomfortable. Her time to move forward made me uncomfortable too. But sometimes I need to be uncomfortable with these books. I mean really we are talking about criminal organizations doing criminal things I should not be feeling like oh this is just super duper and cute little love story sorts of feelings. I should be feeling a degree of conflicted and weird about my feelings about it. And this achieved that. So I was happy about that.

    I was also happy that a baby didn't just magically appear at the end. Increasingly I've been uncomfortable with all the ladies popping out children in these types of books. It's nice to see a romance that doesn't end up in pregnancy because of a lustful night or whatever.

    The relationship between the two characters was reasonably adult. I mean adult conversations happened. Yeah there were a bunch of steamy on a whim sex but in between it wasn't all puppy dog eyes and that stuff. Saffron was a thinker and had self esteem (another lacking thing in these books). He was a business guy and had other things to take up his time than chasing after her. That was a nice change of pace too.

    Normally I don't write reviews, but after reading this the third Prairie Devils MC Book I felt I just had to.

    Wow, just wow!

    If you like your men strong, raw and loving, and your heroines, women who will fight for what they want and not just sit there with the back of their hands across their brows. Then you'll love these three books.
    Yes the language is strong and some of the story gritty, but it's well written, with good plots that make me hope Nicole Snow will bless us with many more Prairie Devil books.
    (Would love to read how things go with Tank and his nurse, and many of the other characters you get to meet in these books)

    Good MC read. Quite gritty and violent in places. Very alpha male meets sweet girl who has had some hard knocks in life. I really liked Blaze as a hero- man, he kicked ass. Some really quite sweet moments too, surprisingly , which tempered the grittiness of the story. I have read this series out of order but it hasn't ruined it. Each is an individual couples tale anyway. Recommend to any MC genre fan.
