    I do enjoy reading Menage stories and, for the most part, Get Closer was an enjoyable read for me. It was quick to read. The characters were very interesting and attractive. But, although I did enjoy it, I felt it was on the “light” side. The storyline was secondary to the sex. I would like that ratio to be more 50/50, or for the story to be the greater portion. I understand this story originated from an anthology entry, so perhaps this is the reason for the shallow depth of plot. If the characters, their lives and the plot had been fleshed out a little more, I think it would have been worthy of more stars. However, as I mentioned, I did enjoy it. I just wanted more. I’m going on to read the second book in the series, Go Deeper. 3.5 Stars.

    I loved reading along while listening to this story. It’s short but we’ll written. I truly want to know more about this triad. I must say I love Russel’s relationship with Chloe. It’s started and only got higher through the years. I also, love his relationship with Martell. Of which started as bff then grew into so much more. As they all come together an explosion of chemistry was set off. Most of all I love the energy that this story comes with from start to finish it was exciting, thrilling and emotional.

    My review is written voluntarily after listening to the audio version of the super sexy fun book which tells us how Chloe and Russell first met on a plane journey when Russell was on his way to interview for a job with Hunter Railways. As they talked they realised that they felt a connection, this led to them having quite a sexy ride. They kept in touch for a while via phone and an occasional hookup but they lived in different parts of the country so despite sharing incredible chemistry they slowly lost touch with each other.

    Five years have passed and Chloe is contracted to assist a company based in New York, Hunter Railways, she's been working with Martell who happens to be Russells best friend. The night before her presentation she goes out for a meal with Martell and it looks like there could be something wonderful between them, but she's been down the long-distance relationship path before with Russell and it didn't work so a meal is all they share. Imagine her shock the next day when as she is about to do her well-rehursed presentation when who should walk into the room looking even better than ever but Russell!

    The chemistry and connection they've always had are just as strong but this time into the mix we have Martell. The palpable chemistry shared by Chloe, Russell and Martell is sensually erotic and hot, is this the start of something permanent even though Chloe still lives in another state? Even though she's attracted to both of them will she leave when her work is done? What will Russell and Martell do if she leaves? To find out I suggest you download the book either version will do but I do recommend the audio version which is told by all three of them, something I really enjoyed. The narration by Eva Brooks, Jaxon Stark and Brooklyn J. Jones was excellent and added to my enjoyment of this enjoyable, fun and sexy story.

    Chloe meets Russell when they sit next to each other on a flight and have some fun under a blanket. They live too far apart for a repeat so it will be years before they see each other again. Five year later, Chloe is hired as a consultant where she meets Martell who happens to be a college friend of Russell's. Oh, hotness ahead. Once they all come together, watch out.
