Dethroned Irish mob prince, Michael Flanagan, has a death wish. Or rather, he's having impure thoughts about a rival mafioso's sociopathic lover, which amounts to the same thing.
Drawn into one of his uncle's schemes, Michael is horrified to find himself used as collateral—a hostage to the mafia family and a terrified houseguest of the mobster in question. But despite his ferocious reputation, Carmine Bartolo Jr seems happy enough when his sadistic partner, Ilya, starts bedding Michael. Almost as happy as Michael himself.
But of course, nothing in Michael's life is simple.
Dealing with his own complicated family situation—and that Carmine seems to have a sinister motive behind taking Michael under his wing—is bad enough. But Michael starts to fall, not only for Ilya and the dark passions they share, but also for Carmine, who might be even more of a monster when he's not charming and considerate. And worse, the feelings seem to be mutual.
Maybe if they can figure out who's trying to murder Carmine they'll eventually get their happily ever after. And if the three of them have to kill a few people to get there...they'll probably enjoy it.

Alexis Jane is the dark-half of author Alex Jane.

Exploring the visceral side of MM romance, her stories delve into horror themes, profoundly problematic relationships, and violence while holding romance and love at their core—no matter how misguided it might be.

All three of the primary characters in this story are deeply interesting and, at the right moments, even likable. (None of them are even vaguely innocent, and this is a novel about, among other things, organized crime figures, intrigue, violence, etc…so…). Watching their respective dynamics take shape is seriously engrossing. It’s hot, it’s complicated (the characters also are seriously complicated) and it’s not entirely what I was expecting, and I mean that in the best possible way.*I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.*

I really enjoyed this story. It was fast paced and very engaging. It was written differently than I’m used too. I liked how the chapters were t just days but weeks apart & we got a little backstory on how those weeks went. It kept the story going at a good pace & still gave all the info you needed. Micheal, Ilya, and Carmine were the perfect triad and I adored their messed up relationship.

Good Faith was an excellent antagonist/anti-hero Mafia bad guys story that I enjoyed very much. I haven't read a good one with the bad guy trope in a long time. The way Alex Jane, the author, weaved an intricate and unpredictable suspenseful plot was incredible. The characters were well-written as well. Though I prefer a more sweet and innocent character paired with the older bad guy, Michael grew on me - as well as Carmine and Ilya and the rest of the side characters on Team Michael and Carmine. I do love the age gap!

I didn’t really believe that this was reasonable. Is it really possible that Carmine Sr. didn’t know the truth about his heir and Ilya? Is it likely that no one who worked for Michael’s uncle picked up on the bandwidth being used? How would Michael have been so capable of hiding his intelligence, even before his father’s death? And aren’t crime families all about legacy and keeping power within the blood family of the Family? What was Carmine Sr.’s plan for the longer term future?

This is the story of Michael, Ilya and Carmine. Please read the trigger warnings. This book is very well written with an excellent plot that draws you in and keeps you reading. The characters are amazing. The mystery have you continuing late into the night. Definitely recommended.

I received this book as an Arc and I am happily reviewing it voluntarily

I enjoyed a lot of this story and like the in family fighting among the mafia. I thought the overall twists and turns were pretty well done. I even really enjoyed how cold Carmine was and how scary Ilya could be and how clueless Michael was in certain situations. There's a nice intimacy between Michael and Carmine that I liked watching. However, 95% of the spicy times was off page. I would have liked to have seen some of the things that Michael and Ilya got up to behind closed doors. While I liked the poly dynamics, we don't get to see too much of Ilya and Michael forging a bond as most of what we see are the soft moments between Carmine and Michael. The ending also felt a tad bit abrupt. It would've been nice to see these men a bit down the line after being reunited.

It's a great mafia story with a good amount of violence. It's definitely a one out of 5 on the hot chili scale though so don't expect anything too much there if that's what you're looking for.

MMM mafia romance with a little bit of violence and love. Not as many steamy scenes, but the characters are well-written.

Michael, forgotten son of a murdered mob boss, used as a pawn by his uncle and traded to Carmine, another sadistic crime boss and Ilya his equally sadistic lover. Michael knew he could become fodder if it suited either side. What he wound-up with was two men he didn’t want to live without.

This isn’t a typical romance but it is romance adjacent. If blood, murder, and betrayal can be considered romantic then this book has it all in spades. “Bad” guys galore who just happen to be mostly likable.

I liked the relationship that developed between the three men. While it wasn’t equal it was still heartfelt and I liked that throughout the book it was obvious they all felt that way.

I enjoyed discovering Carmine, Ilya, and Michael and their warped love story.

This book has a dark and deadly undertone but is very well written and is quite a compelling story. The crime family setting is a dangerous world but relationships can be forged in even this environment.
