The book is specially designed for families to share during the Holiday Season, or for young competent readers to try for themselves. This is a beautiful picture book to treasure, with full colour images on every page.

Grandfather Time is a magical clock ~ he brings us the story of young Ebenezer, a boy who is not very caring and really hates sharing. One Christmas Eve, not so very long-ago Grandfather Time decides to teach the boy a lesson. So with the help of his friends; the Ghosts of Past, Present and Future and with lessons to learn he brings forth the first tutor – a little golden-red King Charles spaniel, called Miss Ruby Heart.

Will this unlikely pair be able to teach the boy the error of his ways? Or will he be doomed to be a scruffy, lonely teenager stuck forever in his own little world?

I am an illustrator with extensive experience.     A Christmas Carol with Grandfather Time is a lovely retelling of the story of Ebenezer Scrooge. This time, Eb is a young boy who hates to share. He also doesn't seem to like listening to his parents when they say it's time for bed. But once asleep, Eb is visited by the ghosts of Past, Present, and Future.
    Can the spirits teach Eb to be a better, more caring little boy? Or will he stick to his ways of being selfish and mean?
    This is a cute story with wonderful illustrations. It also has a great lesson for young readers. While I think most kids aren't really like Eb, understanding why it's better to share and be kind than to not share and be mean is always a good thing. And this book has a creative way of teaching that.
    A delightful holiday read that will become a new tradition for readers of all ages.

    My family enjoyed this interesting modern day twist to a favorite classic tale. The book has a strong message of sharing which is perfect for teaching social skills to young children. The children will enjoy the young Ebonezer. A great book for the Christmas Holiday!

    **This kindle / eBook version is best read in a landscape orientation **

    Bright beautiful illustrations adorn this seasonal treat. Ideal for families to share or young competent readers to try for themselves.

    The characters are all charming, the narrator being a magical clock called ~ Grandfather Time. We love the beautiful illustration of the Ghost of Christmas Past too ~ Miss Ruby Heart.

    The story is told in verse with Ebenezer Scrooge being a mere boy, he is not very caring and he really hates sharing. However, Grandfather Time whisks him off in a flash of light and he sees children from all walks of life and diversities caring and sharing.

    This story does not have a scary Grim Reaper so is suitable to share with toddlers. Watch out for the beautiful new Ghost of Christmas Future 'The Dream Keeper' but beware he brings good dreams and occasionally nightmares to naughty children.
