Aleatha Romig is a New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and USA Today bestselling author who lives in Indiana, USA. She grew up in Mishawaka, graduated from Indiana University, and is currently living south of Indianapolis as well as part of the year in Bradenton, Florida, USA. Before she became a full-time author, she worked days as a dental hygienist and spent her nights writing. There aren't enough words for me to express how much I am loving Julia and Van's story. Aleatha Romig is my go to author for anything suspenseful and darkish, in Green Envy we are getting a taste of both. Julia and Van find themselves with more questions than answers about her family's company, Wade Pharmaceuticals, and just when they think they are getting all the info they need someone from Van's past shows up. I have to say there is a HUGE twist in this story and I picked up on it earlier in the book but I still wasn't prepare for things to play out the way they had. That's why I LOVE Aleatha's books! This series needs to be read in the order it is released so that you will follow the story, but be prepared for the cliffhangers because they're a going to shock you. If you love Romantic Suspense reads you're going to want to add not only this book but the series to your TBR list. Happy Reading!!!

    What can I say that other's have not, this series by Aleatha is outmatching others she has written. Aleatha is the queen of these suspense, dark, intense books but this series has knocked it out of the park.

    I was so delighted to read Red Sin and when that finished I was anxious to get my greedy hands on Green Envy and now I have finished that I am anxious again for Gold Lust, mainly because I have embedded myself with these characters and am desperate to find out what is going to happen next, who will be hurt, who will be saved, will love bloom or deminish, all the questions up in the air that I need answered.

    Green Envy is everything I thought it would be, it picks up straight away from where Red Sin ends and goes from strength to strength, you see a much stronger Julia taking her place with the help and assistance of Van, he is her guiding light but he does not over shadow her so she has to rely on him, he gives her the helping hand and let's her go with what she wants to accomplish and stands back to support her, that in alone gives Julia strenght and in the same light, the way she is blossoming is encouraging Van to open up a bit more, to be the better man and to do things not just because he can and because he wants to but also to make a life for him and Julia and to make Julia happy and secure with him.

    I have no doubts there will be more twist and turns and Van is by no means a straight forward man, there is more to him to explore and I for one can't wait, he is unique, he has a past, he has a future to look forward to and how he accomplashes it will be interesting to read.

    Van and Julia are the making of a formidable team and it is great to read. The strength these characters have wether together or apart is making for an amazing series. You can literally taste the power in each page you read and I for one cannot wait to read more.

    I only wish we didn't have to wait until April for the third book, Gold Lust but I have no doubts that with Aleatha's writing it will be worth waiting for. There will no doubt be some questions answered in the third book and there maybe some things we may never know but that adds to the intrigue of this couple I feel.

    Another amazing series by such an incredible writer.

    I would highly recommend this book and Red Sin to everyone I know.

    And the secrets continue. Van has been holding a lot of secrets. Secrets he doesn’t want to share but puts Julia in danger. Julia is trying to find her footing with her parents company but doesn’t understand why there is security all around her.

    This part of the story was a bit wordy with descriptions. It is needed for the story but it was just a lot at times. I hope that we see Julia start growing a backbone more with Van and demanding answers. Van seemed a bit childish for his age of 41. He just seemed like a teenager who just found his first love and the “more” was irritating. That’s what is so good about these books. Things that the character does irritates me and they aren’t real.

    It’s hard to believe that this trilogy (yes a trilogy) started with a short prequel, White Ribbon, leaving us hanging in Red Sin. Green Envy picks up exactly where Red Sin left off. Aleatha has more twists to spring on us and she quickly delivers. The book follows her usual recipe of slowing giving hints and then surprise, all is as it seems. While Green Envy provides some insight into Van’s mysterious background, I think I have more questions than I did before. I feel for Julia as Van’s secrets and motives are slowly revealed, he asks for time and trust. I think Julia is a bit too trusting in my opinion. Though she is standing up to her parents, and fighting for her right to lead Wade pharmaceuticals, I would have expected that same strength and conviction in her relationship with Van. So, I not so enthralled with Julia. I still love the story.

    I anxiously await the conclusion of this series in Gold Lust. And wish that one day Aleatha will write a story with a female having the mysterious past…

    This is the second book in this totally absorbing, series, and it just goes from strength to strength. The cliffhanger at the end is so amazing. I must admit I had a slight inkling, but not the who senario. Book two starts virtually where book one finished. During this story we learn more about Van and his past. We also discover that Julia parents , especially her mother is not what she seems. Other characters take on sinister roles. Drama and intrigue abound, as does deeply romantic and intimate times between Van and Julia. Jealousy raises it head many times , as does deception and deceit. However hatred, revenge, and hostility are very much bubbling along also. Again to be Aleatha’d is as ever totally enjoyable and leaves the reader exhausted and wanting more. The next book is on order and patience will have to be practiced but I feel a re-read coming on.
