    This isn’t like your Disney version of Princess and the Frog. It’s based off the original and it is so good.

    I don’t think I have read one of these before and I definitely need to find another.

    This is a perfect 2 hr read with a HEA. I’m loving these short retelling so much.

    Nichole’s writing from the first book to this one has come so far, I can’t wait to read another book in this series. She has a big future in front of her.

    The story was good. I liked the concept with the retelling of The Princess and the Frog idea. I just didn't feel a connection to the characters. I wanted more out of it I guess. I liked that Brendan was steadfast in his drive to have her. And at any cost. She's promised to his brother but she's his best friend and he refused to let her go. Suri was not as sure of herself as I wanted her to be. But if you like the darker fairytale versions and shorter simple stories, you'll like this.

Brenden can't see himself with anyone other than Suri even though she is promised to someone else. I love this series but Nicole, they are quick reads. The characters are well developed and the stories keep you interested. I cannot wait to see what retelling Nicole does next.

    This book had me going from the first page to the last.  Suri and Brendan are in love, but it’s been determined that Suri is to marry Brendan’s older brother.  The story has some darkness to it and a good amount of heat.  It’s a great quick read that I did in one sitting.  I can’t wait to read the other books in this series!
