I love me some siblings series in a small town and Marika is my dealer! 😆 We come back to Hell again with this new series about the Hellman brothers. Ace is the oldest and the grumpiest aka One-Date Ace. He’s charming AF and all the women want to be the one that he takes out on a second date. He’s also the small town hero and he takes that seriously. “What was it about Ace that turned all my sweetness around and left me with a snappiness that had no place amidst this newly fledged friendship?” Addy is as easygoing as you get. She’s the resident yogi and being one with nature and essential oils are her jam. She’s comfortable in her own skin and having her one on one time with the sun and the moon. Some might call her weird but she has no time to for that. But as comfortable as she is being the weird one, she also just wants to be loved and be someone’s priority. Addy and Ace is as opposite as you can get but yet they also make sense. They balance each other. "It is nice to feel like you belong somewhere. That's how I feel about you and me. We belong together."

    I love a grumpy hero paired with a sunshiny heroine. Ace and Addy are perfect together. Ace is the grumpy uber responsible oldest of 5 boys and a fireman in Auburn Hill. He has dated almost all the eligible woman in town but never goes on second dates. Addy is the complete opposite, a free spirited forest loving yoga teacher. Ace and Addy have been enemies since kindergarten when Ace destroyed Addy’s flower crown. A bare chested fire incident starts Ace and Addy on their journey to their HEA and co-leading a class pushes their romance into the fast lane. The book does a phenomenal job of taking us on the journey of Ace and Addy as they struggle to transition from their individual fears and insecurities into learning to trust and depend on each other. The story has plenty of steamy scenes, sweet moments, stupid choices, laughter, crazy and quirky townspeople, and simmering and overwhelming feelings, all wrapped up in swoony heart squeezing love. The story was well written with relatable characters with depth and an engaging storyline that made me feel all the things. I’ll definitely keep reading this series.

    I liked how the MCs fought their attraction to each other for different reasons. Ace has a lot to be grumpy about--he is the oldest in a family of boys deserted by their father when they were kids. He feels responsible for everything. He gets promoted, and that is even more stressful. Addy was raised by hippie parents, who are still far from reliable, and feels chronically unwanted and put upon by their unpredictable behavior. These two have instant chemistry, but neither trusts it can be honest and good. They begin to talk, and things improve. There is a crisis, but it is resolved quickly. They take their time and are solidly together by the end. The writing is good, with funny parts and silly characters, so it is a good read. Not too heavy, not too light, just right.

    Addy and Ace were amazing!

    Just shows you how opposites attrack!  

    Ace is the ultimate rule follower, rules keep people safe and as the new fire station Captain he is all about keeping people safe. 

    Addy is the complete opposite a free spirit and very comfort in her own skin, surrounded by nature as Ace discovers when he stumbles onto her property uninvited! 

    They may be enemies at the start but that soon changes! Thank goodness Ace knows how to put out flames because these two are HOT!

    I laughed so much while I was reading this, they have such amazing banter.

    I can't wait for the next book in the series and can't wait to find out more about these brothers!
