Mated to the Grumpy Alien: A Mistaken Identity/Curvy Girl/Sci-Fi Romance (Fated Mates of the Persæn Rebellion) Kindle Edition
Cressida
I never imagined that a trip to the art museums of Amsterdam would result in me being sent back in time. I am not a woman built to survive in a stone age Viking village. Almost as soon as I arrive, they’re threatening to burn me at the stake.
Things go from bad to worse when an actual Norse God descends from the heavens to rescue me. Because he’s not actually a god, he just looks like one. In truth, he’s an alien. And he’s convinced I’m destined to be his love slave.

- Reviewed in the United States on January 19, 2024Oh my goodness did Cressida of Austin make me laugh. It was like she was doing and saying everything that’s in my head when I need a fantastic zinger to sling at some poor soul who unknowingly managed to trigger my not-so-Easy button.
In Cressida’s case, her poor soul is Irick, an exiled, golden god of Persae. He’s yummy, he’s stunned from finding his mate (Cressida), and he nearly blows his chance with her, the first time he gives her 0rgasms. Let’s just say, Irick came in HOT.
But Irick perseveres. His love for Cressida is so sweetly pure and we’re left with a lovely, $exy, story between two lost people l who find each other in the strangest of ways.
I received a complimentary copy of this book and I purchased a copy. This is my honest, 🔥⭐️🔥⭐️🔥⭐️🔥⭐️🔥⭐️ review!
- Reviewed in the United States on January 16, 2024A short and sweet story in the “My Alien Caveman” series, this one is about Cressida, an art teacher from Austin Texas, who finds herself in a primitive era somewhere in Europe.
She’s rescued by Irik, a golden alien from Perse, who rather resembles Hercules in her mind…
This is a fun, fast read, with a rather intriguing hero, who contrary to the name of the book, doesn’t really seem to be that grumpy! That being said, his story does sound fascinating, and I hope that the new series that this is the introduction for, will tell us more in the future!
An enjoyable tale for SFR fans, and time travel lovers.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 20, 2024I found this book to be sweet and just long enough to pass a couple of hours. I’m glad Cressida wasn’t one of those women with body issues because she was curvy. That is getting old in my opinion. And I really admired Irrick for the patience he showed in allowing her to come to terms with their bonding.

This is the second book I'm reading in the series (started with book 5). And it was slightly better than book 5, and so I plan to read another one.
A few word errors; dear instead of did, I'm instead of I've, etc. There's a handful more, and they didn't pull me out of the story when they happen.
The H has been on prehistoric (it doesn't seem like this is a different universe like book 5) Earth for 10 years, alone, except for his AI he smuggled with him because it's in a chip in his head.
The H says his skin was inked gold so everyone would know him as a traitor. I have some questions, but the one that has me the most curious and disbelieving is why would they take the time to do his whole body in glittery gold? And what if they were wrong and it comes out later he's innocent? It seems it's his entire body, privates and all as the h doesn't comment on any 'tan lines', if you will when she finally sees all of him.
Kind of tired of the h assuming the mating bond is sexual slavery and no one correcting her, or when they try to explain she just interrupts saying she can't listen as she's just too overwhelmed with her life right now. Which is sort of overwhelming, but this is annoying. When she was alone in the cave and had time to ask the AI anything she wanted, she asked one question, and that was it, then she pouted and laid down in bed. She eventually listens to the explanation later from the AI but her push back against what having and being a mate means, while normal, is now annoying.
The h is 26. The H's age isn't given but I'm guessing mid to late 30s. No indication if his species lives longer than humans or not.
The h is a virgin. I can't tell if the H is a virgin or not, sometimes it feels like he is and other times like he isn't, so I'm not sure if this is a true fated mates or just mates story. No BC.
Spice is 3 fires out of 5.
One of the primitive species on the planet grabbed the h's boob. The H undressed and bathed the h while she was unconcious before they'd spoken any words to each other.
Epilogue basically right after they do it in the previous chapter. Not sure why this would be considered an epilogue, even if they talk about their future.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 18, 2024Cressida is not having the best of luck, sucked into a time vortex, scavenging for survival and now burned at the stake. But her luck changes when Irick,a golden god of an alien, rescues her and claims her as his mate in this cute read.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 21, 2024I loved the crazy way she wasn't kidnapped by aliens, but somehow is shifted back into Earth's history. To a time when cave drawing was about to be developed. Then to make things more unique, she is rescued from the angry, fearful "people" that want to burn her for her red hair, and pepper spraying a man with grabbing hands, by a man she calls by a God's name. Who just so happens to be an alien, who's stuck in this time as well.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 1, 2024It’s a good thing that I stumbled across this 📕book, it’s so sweet and I loved it 😊 the story is short but so romantic 🥰 and tender, I can’t wait to read the next book 📕 Storting of great 👍🏻
- Reviewed in the United States on January 23, 2024Cressida has spent 10 years taking care of her ill mother. Now that she has died Cressida goes to Europe for herself. Irick has spent 10 years by himself on this primitive planet. Now the ignorant natives are ready to burn a woman at the stake. Enjoy
