Dawn Sullivan has a wonderful, supportive husband, and three beautiful children. She enjoys spending time with them, which normally involves some baseball, shooting hoops, taking walks, watching movies, and reading.

    Princess is a Bunny shifter who has lost her alpha father and her brother Samson is now the Alpha. He's sold her to Alpha Ramsey of another herd and she refuses to mate with him. Samson imprisons her where she's treated horribly. She is freed by an unlikely source and runs. She is helped by a powerful Witch, Aurora, who helps anyone she can. Aurora takes Princess in and she renames her Emery Erickson to help keep her hidden, and also sets Emery up with a waitress job at the Sassy Wolfe and will get paid under the table. The owner, Nathan Wolfe, will ask no questions and will keep her safe. Not long after, in walks her mate!
    Knox Channing and his siblings are the last of the Channing Bear Clan after the deaths of his parents. With the permission of Alpha of Blue Creek, he buys a ranch to raise horses. They have settled in nicely and one day Knox goes to the Sassy Wolfe. He sees the waitress Emery and knows that she's his mate. She tries to run but he catches her. Even though she would love to stay with him, she knows she has to run because her family is coming to bring her back. She's afraid of everyone getting hurt because of her. You'll have to read yourselves to find out the outcome.

    This book, while it was under Kindle Worlds (and under MT Worlds - so if you have read it - you do not need to buy it again), was the book to introduce me to Dawn Sullivan. I love my bears...if you are a PNR reader, this book is really great. It has BEARS (swoon), LOVE (awww) and ACTION. The story brings out the protective instincts and in the end, the bear eats his bunny (in the good way). It was a great beginning to a story that has as of yet (hint hint) to be finished. You do not need to read this book to read the others, but it will enhance the overall story arc. I am looking forward to seeing what the Lion Pride will be doing in the series. Lions and Bears - oh my! I am glad these are re-releasing in successive weeks. So, you have Knox and Emery's (Princess) story here.
    Trigger alert - Emery had to deal with family abuse so, if you have domestic violence trigger - this may set it off.
    However, Knox meets Emery, they are mates, there is angst and Knox and Emery will have a HEA. This is a feel-good, in an afternoon, kind of read - Pick it up...welcome to the world of Dawn Sullivan.

    Princess/Emery Ericksen (bunny shifter) is on the move from her family and herd, as they want her to mate with Ramsey, a horrible Alpha from another bunny herd. She wants nothing to do with him or her family. With some help from Aurora (a witch) and Meadow (Ramsey’s daughter) she finally gets the chance to find freedom, but for how long?

    Knox Channing (bear shifter) is working on a ranch in Blue Creek. After his parents passing he became Alpha of his family and takes that job seriously. One night while enjoying an evening out with his siblings, his mates scent took over – she was near! He is ready to start the mating process once he discovers who is mate is. The big bad alpha wants his sweet little bunny!

    Can Emery stay and live in Blue Creek with her mate or will she always be on the run from her herd? Can Knox keep her safe and convince her to stay and live with him and his family? Read this awesome book to find out the answers!

    I hope the rest of the Channing family gets their own book!! Great start to a series!
