    If you are looking for a fast read then I definitely recommend this book! It’s a super short story but it’s really interesting and cute.

    Emma inherits a cabin and decides to check it out. Her not realizing that the snow storm was pretty bad she ended up in the wrong cabin. She meets Ryan and there’s an instant connection. But there’s a secret that Ryan is hiding when he finds out who she is. He tries to stay away from her but in the end he just can’t he wants to keep her be with her no matter what.

    Quick, spicy romance. It’s not at all realistic, but that’s part of the fun. Will definitely read Wyatt’s story when that comes out!

    Emma is driving up to a cabin in the mountains that she just found out her grandmother left her five years ago in her will, despite her father forbidding her to do so… the only trouble? She didn’t realize they were having the storm of the century up on this mountain when the weather at home was perfectly fine!!! She’s driving her best friends borrowed city car and it is not going well, she notes as she careens into a snow bank just as her GPS is telling her she has arrived at her destination😬…
    Her next problem? As she goes inside the cabin she realizes it’s occupied!!!… when a giant hunky mountain man with bloody knuckles comes in the door😳….
    Of course Ryan, who is a member of the local mountain rescue (and just had bleeding knuckles from cold exposure) insists that she stay overnight…. Their chemistry is immediate and things seem to be heating up until she tells him her name…And he shuts down…. How could he have a life with this beauty when his family finds out who she is? What will she think of him and his family when she finds out??? What’s the secret??? Can he keep his hands off her??? Why didn’t her father want her to come up here???
    Oh boy this one is steamy😍😍😍 and well worth the read. It’s well written and well edited…dive in for a short escape🥰🥰🥰.

    Really cute short story! 😍 that little plot twist got me though, like I really gasped out loud. I didn't expect it so I definitely didn't see it coming. LOL. I like the fact that the main characters were older (FMC- 28 and MMC- 35). I like that the FMC didn't shy away from wanting the MMC, which it seemed she was not a virgin. A lot of these short steamy stories feature a young woman who is a virgin. So it's nice to read something different.

    Now I kinda want more of these two characters. I got to the epilogue and was sadly shocked I was at the end already. If this were a full novel or even a novella, I would eat it all up. Nicely done.

    2⭐️: The book didn’t quite resonate with me, and while my experience wasn’t remarkable, I did finish it. It had some redeeming qualities and potential but fell short in execution. Recommendable, though with some reservations.
    3⭐️: Good read, but didn’t quite stand out. Still worth recommending to others.
    4⭐️: Really enjoyed it and stayed engaged throughout. Would read book again. Definitely recommendable.
    5⭐️: Incredible writing that made me deeply connect with the characters. I was completely absorbed in the world and didn’t want it to end. This book stayed with me even when I wasn’t reading it. I'd gladly reread it and highly recommend it to everyone!.

    Somehow, it was both a slow-burn and an insta-love wrapped up in a well-written short story that I couldn't get enough of! The story was well-developed for its length; the characters were complex and dynamic, and there was history, a decent arc, and a fun little twist. Overall, I absolutely recommend it if you are looking for a short, steamy mountain man read!!

    The number of pages? 64. You might think it’s not a lot, but trust me, a lot of things happen in those 64 pages.
    Emma has inherited a cabin up in the mountains. What does she do? Brave a snowstorm, unknowingly, to find that cabin. Her companion? Her dog, Toby. However, she doesn’t find the cabin, but she does find the love of her life, though. An over 6 ft mountain man who’s sweet and has a filthy mouth. Win-win situation if you ask me.
    This book had everything you could want: insta love & connection, good spice with a dash of dirty talk, a cute protective dog, a funny best friend, and family drama.
    Both the characters are so refreshing, especially for a novella. Emma is sassy and isn’t afraid to talk. She’s not the shy, insecure and ridiculously petite character you often see in mountain romances. Ryan is blunt and gruff. Everything you want a mountain man to be in a romance story. These two had good banter and a bit of awkwardness between them, but it's so entertaining. They weren’t afraid to be honest with each other and they didn’t play games or shy away from saying what they truly wanted: Each other.
    And the spice? It was good. The dirty talk was unexpected, for my part, but I liked it a lot. I mean, who doesn't love a guy who is a sweet but secretly a dirty talker? We discover Emma and Ryan as they discover themselves.
    Ryan is definitely a follower of the “happy wife, happy life” motto and I'm here for it.
    I have a deep love for novellas, and mountain romances are a guilty pleasure of mine. I loved this book so much. I can’t wait to read more from this author and see where Ryan’s brothers take us!
