    This book is so good! One of my favorite things about this author is the way the story is the perfect blend of bit of action and intrigue, danger and safety, love and family, emotion and steam, and with just the right touches of humor to top it off. Great characters I love getting to know and really enjoy the setting including the found family aspects.

    Ledger has been an interesting character through this series and I’m glad to get to know him as well as Shane. I think they fit together well. I loved Ledger’s dedication to the club family and Shane’s stubbornness, and their passion together.

    We see the club family we already know and I especially appreciated getting more Ciro as well as a new secondary character that I hope is around in the future.

    I felt like everything flowed really well throughout, keeping me totally involved in the story. I do think one thing was slightly predictable but not annoyingly so, you still have a hell of a ride from start to finish.

    I highly recommend this book but for the most enjoyment you should read the earlier books in the series, but they’re awesome too so why not!

    Heart Beats is the third book in the Joker's Sin series by Davidson King. Each book has focused on one of the main characters in the Joker's Sin world. DJ Edge (Ledger) is an integral part of the sucesses of the club. His ability to create just the right atmosphere with his music keeps the patrons on their feet dancing all night. In the first two books, he came across as a very private man.

    Shane was introduced in the first book. He is the new bartender and he loves his job. The club is classy and he is well paid. He cannot keep his eyes off Ledger and freezes when Ledger is around. Just like high school, the romance will never start if someone doesn't take the first step.

    The book is a nice mix of romance and suspense. John Solo and Philip Alces do a good job narrating the book. If you have enjoyed any of the Haven Heart universe created by Davidson King, you will find this book a nice edition.

Ledger has his issues about getting with Shane yet he works through it and they get together.     Unfortunately Ledger’s stalker isn’t happy about him having a connection with anyone so the craziness and drama begins.
    All the Joker’s Sin family are there to help out, there’s a couple of interesting side characters introduced and a wonderful parrot named Lion to provide some entertainment.
    After negotiating the major issue of the stalker, these two very loveable characters finally get their hard earned HEA.
    This is another engaging and enjoyable instalment in the series and I’m looking forward to more.

    This third ok is forJokers Sin resident DJ Ledger and bartender Shane who if you’ve read the previous books you probably got a hint of their attraction. This book sees them finally take the leap and give in to their desires. Meanwhile there is a stalker about. This bit reminded me of the previous books with Ciro and his men stepping in to keep everyone safe and as we know from previous Haven Hart series thins can get a bit crazy. All in all this was a fairly quick paced read with a bit of angst, some heat and lots of familiar faces. Can’t wait to read Ciro’s story that is out now!

    Includes pansexual mc, stalker, hot sexy scenes. This lots happening with the storyline and danger is far when it ramps up. Ive loved the past book previously in the series and this is another good one.
    Shane was invited to DJCon by his freind, both worked at Jokers Sin bar. Having a small crush on the clubs DJ Shane didnt mind on bit that he was ar the convention either.
    Ledger was the DJ and had huge following..
