- Reviewed in the United States on October 9, 2024Format: KindleVerified PurchaseWow. I loved this story. A different twist on Omegaverse.
And I want to know more about Foster. Unusual to have a male protagonist as the focus of an omegaverse story.
He is intelligent, moral, ethical and caring.
I’d love to have him take care of me during my heat!
- Reviewed in the United States on August 27, 2024Format: KindleThis author continues to excel at leaving me wanting more, which means she knows what she's doing!
This is a short & sweet romp that delves into a collection of tales where sex positivity meets medical care.
My main issue is that despite the end line being a joke & more of a snub against the character set on being a contrarian aggressor than anything, it undercuts some of the sex work appreciation vibes that I was happily immersed in until then.
Other than that, I'd love to hear more about Foster's adventures & hope that he finds himself in a pack or relationship of his own someday & whether that informs him to step back from his literal hands-on approach in his business, or if his pack/partner(s) join him in it, or something else in between.
(Also, I'd like to think he chose the name Foster for all it entails because he's truly the kindest, considerate & nurturing presence, but if he was given that name, it couldn't be a more apt blessing & all the more bittersweet that he's single.)
- Reviewed in the United States on March 2, 2025Format: KindleShort stories aren't usually my thing but this was a great mix of spice and plot. Loved it. Give it a chance.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 29, 2024Format: KindleI’ll say off the bat I had a hard time orienting myself with this story. I’m not sure if it’s because it was such a different set up for a novella, or I had never read another one of Amy’s books, but it did take me a minute to get into it. Something to keep in mind when reading is the names of the chapters aren’t a change in point of view. All the stories are told through Foster’s POV, while the interview portions are through Karen’s POV. The names of the chapters are in fact the names of the clients that Foster is helping. The stories were fun little snippets, and it was interesting change of pace from the typical omegaverse narrative. Once I figured out how the story was laid out I really enjoyed it. Honestly I wish I got to know more about the stories we saw little snippets of!
- Reviewed in the United States on September 18, 2024Format: KindleUnique really and I can tell you Amy outdone herself yet again. It's a short book but that is a okay here as it doesn't need to be a long one. It is fun and spicy and I love how you get to know a sm*x worker if you will and his vision and loved his name too. It being Foster. It is in the Port Haven world so you'll see certain people you may know. Loved it.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 9, 2024Format: KindleShort and sweet but very informative. Explained the whole omega, heat cycle, alphas and everything it all entails. Nice to see an alpha see a need and fill it. He is really trying to help those in need.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 7, 2024Format: KindleThe storyline for this short story is very different from your usual omegaverse. Most of them have specific love interests with the intent of having a happy ending. This one is more geared towards Foster helping out others and enhancing their experiences. I really enjoyed him as a character and how unique the story was!
- Reviewed in the United States on September 28, 2024Format: KindleIt was great getting a peak into Foster's experiences and I hope we get to dive into more later. Sweet and a little sexy. Great quick read. Would definitely recommend.

4.0 out of 5 stars interesting rather than particularly hot
Format: KindleVerified PurchaseThis book was interesting as a snap shot into different heats and problems that could be experienced. I liked the idea of a heat helper.
It’s a short read and I enjoyed reading it but there was no real emotion to grab you behind the characters. It is written in the style of an interview and was like reading a magazine article.
