    Book 1, Marcus and Elle: Hardened solider and former socialite turned comms specialist for Squad 6. Blue Mountain Base is home to survivors of the invasion. Hell Squad takes on impossible missions with Elle in their ears, and watching their backs. When a chance comes to break into the Gizzida comms system, Marcus is faced with taking the woman he loves into hell.
    Book 2, Cruz and Santha: Santha has been fighting the Gizzida since the death of her sister at their hands. Cruz knows from the moment they meet that Santha is his one. When it is discovered that the Gizzida are experimenting on humans, the mission is on to rescue them. We meet more nasty Gizzida beasties as well.
    Book 3, Gabe and Emerson: Gabe has closed himself off to emotion since the loss of his twin. Emerson struggles with survivors guilt. Together they help each other battle their respective demons. The Gizzida plan for humanity is revealed (yikes!). We meet more of the nasty beasties.

    I love the sci fi story lines.
    But once you've read one sex scene you've read them all. They never change, 1 part of the couple is well built, great lover with hands and mouth, the other is always so turned on like never before in their life. The author could just say they screwed like rabbits. They never get enough of one another and have trouble going on missions. One never feels they are worthy of the other person and fight the feelings. It's the same scenario in each book.

    This author has a hard on for sex, in my opinion her books would be just as good without all of it.

    These books are all wonderful. Even though they all have HEAs (well, as happy as you can be when you're at war with murderous alien invaders) each soldier's journey is different and unique. After three of these books I'm still wanting more. I've already purchased the next two and can't wait to read them. In fact, I'll read anything by Anna Hackett. Her books are smart, intense, and easy to lose yourself in. I highly recommend this series.

    I’m not usually a fan of sci fi but as I’m a huge Anna Hackett fan I wanted to try them. They were action packed and full of suspense and edge of your seat action. Hell squad are some kick as# fighters. All alpha male too. Good storyline. Hot and steamy with each book carrying in the same story arc but each guy and girl are different. So there’s not any repetition. Once I started I couldn’t put them down.

Good storylines through books 1-3 and if this is something that you'd normally read then I'm sure you'll enjoy these books too.
