Another great read, Kelsey kicks Ass again!!
Terry Keeps getting better and better at writing,Epmire of Bones will away be on my Favorite list! I have read the whole series 5 times from start to finish. I felt that this story was more about interpersonal relationships and stealing a Flip-drive to fix their Carrier and the trouble Kelsey gets into LOL. Poor Russel Talbot he is going to be grey before his time!! Quite a lot of surprises along the way.

    Another great book in the Empire of Bones series. We once again see Princess Kelsey with her marine raider implants that she can't stay out of fights. What she hoped to have been a simple raid to steal and new flip drive for her carrier, has we should have expected goes a little off course. But a few surprises are also there for her, which may turn out for the best. Looking forward to reading the next book.

    Princess Kelsey has marine raider implants and is the toughest petite little lady you can meet. The problem is that the princess can't stay out of fights, often seemed to be in situations where she should lose. With the help of her crew of odd balls, ex enemies, and super nerd genius types she usually scraped though. Exciting as all get out.

    This story follows the trend of Mr. Mixon's previous works and therefore is pretty good. The downside to that is that the story and its points have become predictable. We know they will make a daring rescue/heist/raid and that multiple "unforeseen" obstacles will arise for them to overcome. Ultimately this is more of the same adventure, but it starts to feel stale.

    My other issue is the first quarter to half of the book. Without spoiling things there is a trek that takes place and ends up serving no point other than taking up pages and extending the book. That is just lazy writing and I would expect better.

    I'm still looking forward to the next book, but I'm hoping for something less "by the numbers"

    I enjoyed this story. It has the real Kelsey in it. Although I like the other one too. She gets to show off her Marine Raider enhancements again to some of the Pandora aliens.

    I felt that the main action here was a heist plot to steal things they needed from a Rebel Empire Fleet station.

    There are complications and surprises. Of course.
