Charlotte Brice started writing at the age of thirteen, when her handwriting looked like a drunken spider tried to navigate its way across the page. Practicing her handwriting got a lot more interesting when her gran gave her two Rawhide books, and her imagination took over.

Charlotte is left-handed and can lick her own nose. She lives in England with her husband, and many animals, four of them human. Attack chickens, confused dragons, and moving rocks make up the majority of the menagerie. We can't expect much better from someone who studied fruit flies during her animal science degree and then qualified as a vet.

She remembers those days fondly, when putting her arm up a cow's bottom and socks on emus' heads was her kind of normality. Now her head is filled with tentacles and schizophrenic phoenixes.

Keep up with Charlotte’s slightly psychotic menagerie of men and magnificent worlds on her website.

I really enjoyed reading this book. It grabbed me from the beginning and kept me reading and interested until the last page. It moves along at a pace that is perfect for this story. It has interesting characters that you want to know and no matter what happens you will love them. This book needs to be on your TBR list, there is no doubt about it.

This was a good story. Tom and Brett may be thrown together by a flood but what they find is much longer lasting than their time trapped by high water. Crocodiles not withstanding!

Moral High Ground is full of thrills and sweet moments. Brett and Tom are caught in a life or death situation that could have been the end of them. But once they reach relative safety from the flood, they've got to face more social and interpersonal problems as two strangers stuck in close quarters. The alpha/omega aspect of the two men adds some interesting new dynamics to the whole 'one bed' trope. The quiet in between the flood and the rescue could have been too much, but it gave lots of time relationship interplay.

I admired both of the main characters, and was on the edge of my seat to see how they got out of the flood safely. This was an enjoyable survival, alpha/omega story.

Charlotte Brice is an epic storyteller … great book from an interesting perspective

I adore Tom and Brett!! It's such a good storyline, has it all. Action, spice, sweet, hurt omega with a tough Alpha to protect him. Plus puppy saving!
    It's a must read!

This just barely held my attention enough to finish is. It got me with the puppy rescue. The rest was pretty ugh. Just awkwardly written and then threw in some BDSM elements at the end…wut? Collaring and dominance when nothing like that is mentioned in the previous 98% of the book? And of course every introvert has autism ::eyeroll::

We've had a few flash flood watches/warnings in our area lately and so this forced proximity, omegaverse story with Tom and Brett trying to survive in a flood grabbed my attention immediately. Their battles aren't just with the elements and the critters, they have to deal with inconvenient heats and some human irritants as well.

“Please tell me this is real, and it’s not just circumstances.” “I want it to be real.” He kisses the top of my head. “That’s why I’m so worried about ruining it.”  “A little cottage in the countryside with a puppy and a guy I can laugh with, and-”  He kisses me.  Just like that, he lifts my head and kisses my lips.’

What an adventure! Charlotte Brice creates an MM romance between an omega and alpha, but in the most non-traditional sense.

Tom finds himself in danger, as he attempts to stop the people in a village from being harmed in a flood. He is a sweet omega who, even in his omega world, feels different.

Brett is home, cleaning and preparing his parents’ house for sale, when he sees the unassuming omega scientist. When catastrophe strikes, this alpha finds his heart lies with his injured omega.

So, so, so many funny situations and conversations, as these two are stranded together. Loose crocodiles, tins of tuna, new born puppies, wine, and a gentle, yet intense, attraction all build to the sweet Moral High Ground!

This is a sweet MM Omegaverse, between an alpha and omega. It's from duel POV.

Brett is home to prep his parents house for sale, Tom is one of the scientists tasked with talking to the villagers about the flood risks. They end up trapped together whilst awaiting rescue.

Both characters are really likeable, they were sweet together and seemed made for each other. I liked the quirkiness of Tom.
