    Kathleen Kelly continues to flesh out the characters of the Royal Bastards MC. And, you'll be helpless to not fall in love with Highway and Gwen/Lyric. This third installment of the RBMC is a page-turner that will keep you engaged, with its plot twists, action and suspense. As I read this book, I was reminded of a line from the movie Crocodile Dundee: " You're a woman, you're a reporter, and that makes you the biggest busy body in the world." As a photo-journalist, Gwen always has her eyes and ears open for any intrigue and possible story. Lucky for her, Highway was never too far behind, always ready to drag her out of a dangerous situation. But, someone had the MC in the crosshairs.     Highway is the road captain for the Jacksonville Royal Bastards MC, and Gwen is a photographer/journalist capturing moments in their MC world. Add them together, and you will have enormous chemistry and potential for an amazing relationship. This story explores this potential, plus an incredible amount of action and drama involving a rival club.

    There is so much happening in this story that you certainly have no dull moments, and the tale streaks by quickly. I suggest you read each book in order though to get a complete understanding of the characters and issues the club is experiencing.

    This story is gritty; it takes no prisoners, and I like that aspect. There is no hiding the violence, nor should there be. The darker elements are all written smoothly, and the lighter elements balance things out. There is a sense of humour sprinkled throughout the book, but the carefree and fun personal moments take it to the next level.

    This is the third book in this series. This series is part of the Royal Bastards MC collection. Gwen is with a friend at a club function when things hit the fan. She is photographer and just happens to catch something in a photo that can help the club. Highway had been watching Gwen at the gathering and when she can help the club he doesn't hesitate to accept. The more time they spend together the hotter things between them become. Will they be able to find who attack the club and survive? Another fantastic book by Kathleen. She is must read author for me.
