    OMG- I adore Kota Quinn's books in every way! This one does not disappoint. ( In fact I was so excited, I got the Knotty Anthology that followed)
    I have always loved Paranormal stories especially if they dealt in the Omegaverse. Even better if it is an Mpreg. So this story hits almost all of my interests.
    I also love any book about royalty. In fact I will choose it before something else. So again This story checks a box with a Demon Prince who must save a human or fear war. Turns out the human is only 13 and not afraid of the blue horned silver haired and winged Demon. His name is Maven and he loves Christmas Romances but so does the human, Astra. And then he must go home...but Astra comes back and makes him his first ever snow globe of their time together.
    Demons have a problem. They start losing one color at a time until they meet their fated. And colors come back like a rainbow 🌈. Astra, his brother Rain, and his best friend are in a school for Omegas. There is one Diamond and every alpha will want them. Their are other Jewels as well. The people who run the event are Maven's best friend Archer's parents. Archer is an Alpha. Maven and Astra kiss each other the night before the event but then he changes how he looks.
    Would your true love be able to see through a different face?
    I don't want to give everything away but it is extremely exciting, erotic as well, and I love that it is all at Christmas!
    This is an absolute MUST READ!!

    Not quite what I was expecting from a fated mates omegaverse, but the story was interesting enough. I would have liked it more if it had been longer so that more world building and character development could have been done. I would have liked knowing more about Maven’s magic, his family, where he grew up. Same for Aster. He’s a human omega fated to a demon, but other than that we don’t know much.

    I did like that even though Maven and Aster are fated, that fate respected the boundaries of age. Especially with Aster only being 12 when Maven rescued him. I would have liked knowing more about that too, but I’m a lover of all things detail oriented.

    The steam isn’t off page or fade to black, I would still rate it very low spice which I found odd as often heat scenes are rather spicy. It’s okay that the spice level is low, though I happen to prefer higher spice with more detail. If that doesn’t bother you, then you’ll likely enjoy the spicy scenes more than I did.

    We can’t forget that ultimately this is a Christmas story. Aster is too cute with the way he makes a Christmas list of things to do to fully celebrate the holiday season. When you are in a town that is passionate about Christmas, that should be an easy enough task.

    Overall I’d say this book is worth the read. It didn’t wow me, but it didn’t have to for it to still be enjoyable.

    I was given a copy of this book and this is my honest review.

    Astra and Maven met years ago when Maven rescued Astra. For the last ten years they've been wanting to re-connect. Each feeling that pull of a fated mate. When they do finally meet again they still feel the same and things move along with little drama. There is an epilogue but it doesn't tell you much more than the story itself. There isn't much world or character building as the book is too short for that. The chemistry is okay and the sexy times are moderate heat. If this was a full length novel with the world and character building I think it would've been a lot better. It's still a cute Christmas book.
