I love the entire book and I was wrapped in since I started reading. I love the relationship development between the two main characters. I know that this series follows each of the sister but I wish the end of Yaz story would show more of her life and her relationship and not jump to the second book. But def would recommend. Loved the Spanish dialogue that was sprinkled throughout. It made me think of my family and my siblings. This book legit made me cry and I finished it in a night though I’d started at a bit beforehand

It was very much a slow burn story. The characters were like able especially papi (v wholesome) and the writing was good. The Spanish sprinkled in was cringe and sometimes the dialogue was awkward. Other than that it was a decent read. I hate the fact that they got the happy ending and we didn’t get to see it outside of the end of the last chapter. I loved the tension between Yaz and Tomás though that was a really great aspect of the book.
